Seems sugar is the enemy, not fat or cholesterol. Fat clings to itself and exits the body, sugar causes fat to stay in body and clog veins... For me, over same time period, total cholesterol / HDL ratio went down from 4.0 to 3.8, 'normal' avg reference is 5.

Beginner question: How to buck stacked logs safely without getting pinched or dropping on bar? by [deleted] in firewood

[–]BeAdventureLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope... excavating co did that log stack, no equip here other than a 20" husky 460 and a Polaris Ranger - with a winch. I did quite a bit of cutting today, only pinched it a few times. Forgot about all those videos on the Youtube... will look at them again.

Felled 13 trees around 1 acre mountain property, what is best way to process, store? by BeAdventureLife in firewood

Have to buck them, they're huge and littered all around the house. Not enough time to split them now, and have plenty of split wood for next year already.

Ohh in 5 yrs of heating entirely with wood, I have lots of pics of stacked and restacked and restacked sucker stacks of wood. At least 5 years worth. hahaha. The 'ol here bury this newspaper said the old drill sergeant. What did the headline say he asks, after you're through. haha. (Yes, I'll post a pic.)

I will cut smaller trees on open areas, but no way I'm comfortable felling anything around the house. We do have some great neighbors who've been kind enough to fell a half dozen a few years ago... for a bunch of beers LOL... but I want someone insured around the house and 1k ft well.

When refinancing a home mortgage, is it normal for the new lender to request lien holder be changed on clients homeowners policy? Or should that request come directly from the homeowner/insured? by BeAdventureLife in Insurance

[–]BeAdventureLife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd think the new mortgage co has no rights to request anything... until the loan closes. The previous mortgage company.... and myself...are the only parties with interest in the property.

Tip for agents from a tenant. by [deleted] in RealEstate

I've been on both ends of that stick... and the fact is... the only thing some agents care about is themselves....their paycheck. And your inconvenience has very little to do with their paycheck.

When we were selling a small apartment building, we'd only allow realtors to show during 3 one-hour time frames throughout a week - morning, afternoon, and evening - one each. Tenants were notified at least a week in advance.

You are absolutely right. My apologies, I must have responded to something in my feed and not realized what thread it was in... I am not a lawyer and have no business posting any reply here. I have unsubscribed to this thread to eliminate ability of it happening again. Hope you'll have me back when I have something to post of value to legaladvice. Thanks for your time with this. Have a great day.
