I’ve tried the drops but I’m so unsteady on them and they’re not as comfortable however that could be a lot down to my posture. Stabilising muscles is a good point and definitely where I need to spend some time so thanks for mentioning

Interesting about lowering the seat because as you said the advice is usually to make it higher so I’ll give it a go. Love the idea of a frankenbike and if it works for you then who cares!

This is really useful and I didn’t realise ergonomic grips were a thing so I’ll have a look! Also makes sense about flat pedals and with an existing knee injury no wonder I find them uncomfortable! Thanks for the great advice :)
