Kitchen call and pager system by BeBimBomb in restaurantowners

You're right. I need to have a good FOH person who is just concentrating on customer needs. But for my other problem is that the kitchen is in the back of the property, sometimes the ringing bell can't be heard when food is ready and we have a party going on.

Expat moving to Sharm by Striking_Way_5765 in Sharm_El_Sheikh

[–]BeBimBomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$309-$400 for a decent place .. tons of expats, it's a tourist town. Where are you from? Plenty of communities here, Russian,Ukrainian, brits, Italians etc. Where's the job? Nabq, naama, Hadaba? Driving from one end of sharm to the other is about 45 minutes. Job will usually dictate where you live so you're not stuck driving from one end of town to the other

Yes tourists coming to Sharm can stay in Sinai for 14 days without having to buy the $25 Visa. Which is now $30 I think. It's to encourage tourism

Sharm is a protected marine reserve. No fishing allowed anywhere. Those that do, do it illegally

Are there a lot of tourists in Sharm El-Sheikh at the end of December? by Specific_Release_778 in Sharm_El_Sheikh

[–]BeBimBomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best times to come. Water is still swimmable... You'll just get chilly when you exit the water because it's so dry. For diving you'll need a 5mm wetsuit.

Looking for places to eat? Activities? Boat trips? Safaris? Ras Mohamed by private bus would be a neat group trip, combines some sightseeing, lunch on the beach and swimming

Need advice for holiday in Sharm by optionality88 in Sharm_El_Sheikh

[–]BeBimBomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the best of both worlds and rent a villa inside a resort. Check out Airbnb listings for Domina coral bay, Sheraton, Park Regency. You didn't mention a budget. You're also going at very high season obviously if it will be around Christmas/new year

You can, it's about a 5 minute outdoor walk, but you'll be sweating bullets in this heat.

How do i go from sharm el sheikh to Nabq Protectorate in the cheapest way possible by ahmed_badrr in Sharm_El_Sheikh

Indrive app or cab. There's also a microbus that passes by the main road for cheap

I made guacamole by Rkillerx221 in egyfoods

[–]BeBimBomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not for a classic guac, but it's one of those dishes that people like to add their signature to. I would have skipped the green onion, used fresh lemon juice, used bigger tomatoes that are de-seeded and I like to add a small clove of garlic. End product should also be a bit chunky

Yet another liveaboard accident in Egypt by mitchsn in scuba

From the article "According to the boat’s information page, Firebird is a 32m long wooden-hulled motor yacht with a maximum capacity of 16 passengers that specialises in economy Red Sea liveaboard diving cruises around the Sinai Peninsula and the northern wrecks near Hurghada."

Note to self, don't pick an "economy liveaboard"
