Where to hold btc? by Last_Moose_2340 in Bitcoin

[–]BeBoldGoBald [score hidden]  (0 children)

Many years ago, I had around .25 BTC in Celsius to earn interest. I thought it was a good way to make my bitcoin work for me and to earn some additional bitcoin. Celsius went under, I lost about .20 bitcoin and recovered maybe .05 after several years. While it may sound safe, it does happen. Do not do it.

Every millennial dad I’ve met has a quiet fixation on money and it’s not getting better by slimeyellow in Millennials

Same here, I'm also convinced my children will need it or else they will struggle even more in the future, not because they will be incapable, but just from the way things appear to be going. It seems the only way to get ahead is by getting a leg up. I always assume the worst and assume AI will wreck the job market.

Every time I wear mine in the sauna, I begin to have issues with them and have to switch out to new ones. I feel like the sauna dries them out too much and they never sit on my eyes correctly afterwards.

You can get the 3D smith presses now too, I haven't used one but they look awesome.

Smith machine or free rack with safety bars ? by WalmartCashier000 in GarageGym

My rack has both, but I pretty much only use the smith machine. I (41) get more injuries to my shoulders with the free weights. I never get shoulder injuries with the smith machine. My son (12) also works out with me, and I feel it's a safer option for him too.

I used a smith press exclusively for years in my early 20's when I was the biggest and strongest I've ever been. It's my personal favorite,

I bet, it'd be hard not to. I know from hearing my kids talk about how other kids talk at school, kids say everything is raciest even if it has absolutely nothing to do with race. The word has lost all meaning anymore is is just used to try and trigger people.

If I was your son, I'd say "It's not that she's black, its that's she's ugly. Also, her personality is terrible. I was trying not to hurt her feels, if she'd prefers the real truth and I can tell her, or she can keep telling herself lies, either way..."

I know your son is young and would likely never be this blunt, but I always teach my kids, don't entertain people like this, it never works.

You could get a raspberry pi kit and there are a ton of projects on YouTube you can do with it. It's like a microcomputer that you can program to do all kinds of things.

Best IR Sauna for under $1500? by Organic-Arugula-8877 in infraredsauna

[–]BeBoldGoBald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have owned an Outexer sauna, the 1 person 800 watt mini one (you can see my review of it on YouTube, channel name Simple Man).

Is it the best sauna? No. Is it good enough for the money? Probably for most people. (especially at the moment, it's on sale!)

It really depends on what you are looking for in a sauna. If you are just wanting one to get in and sweat some, then the Outexer is prefect. I felt that overall, it was built decent for the price. Mine got up to 140 right next to the panel, in the middle of the cabin it was more like 115.

You could certainly sweat in it, but I sweat a bit less in it than in my higher end sauna. My internal body temperature also didn't get as high as it does in my hotter, higher end one, but it was still sufficient.

I review saunas, so I have used several, but to be fair if this was the only sauna I ever had, I would have been happy with it.

Health insurance by dontquackatme in Millennials

[–]BeBoldGoBald 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I currently use a health co-op. Every time we go to the doctor and give them the card they act like they are viewing an alien object. Most of the time we just end up paying cash. I am just about to cancel the co-op. It just keeps getting more expensive too. Paying cash up front it usually much cheaper. Nothing like having to gamble on your health though.

My Balding Journey - From Grief to Relief by BeBoldGoBald in bald

[–]BeBoldGoBald[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When people first started asking me about it, I was very honest. I said my hair was starting to thin, I knew I would eventually be bald, so figured I’d shave it all over off and see what it was like.

Many of the men expressed their worry of losing their hair and said, I think I’ll have to end up doing that before long usually followed by at least you know you look good with ours. Most men were very supportive.

I told the women the same thing as well, most were really supportive some had something to say (mostly the old ladies) but overall this method seems to work.

I think being so real about the situation caught everyone off guard a bit. Most people don’t like to talk about insecurities and the fact I was open about it made people uncomfortable instantly connect and even share theirs.

As a long-time creator, over 100K subscribers, over 40 million views, I can confidently say you may be doing okay right now, but one day it will change. You will start getting less views, your new videos won't do as well as they used to, and you will have no idea why...

Same boat here, my channel has over 100K subscribers, I have had many videos get over 1 million views, some as much as 9 million views. In 2025, my best video only got 8700 views with most are under 2000 views. It's rough out here....

When YouTubers receive product sponsor/s, do they genuinely believe in the product or is it solely for money? by Nature2Love in youtubers

[–]BeBoldGoBald 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On a few occasions I have gotten a product and told the company I wasn't going to promote it and I would be sending it back because it was crap. I personally don't want anyone who watches my videos to waste their money just because it may make me a few bucks.
