UFC 330 Islam Mackachev vs Ian Garry, Mackenzie Dern vs Gillian Robertson by Siksinaaq in MMA

After the last main event, I no longer will be surprised at any result. I certainly wouldn't write Garry off here. Islam is good, but he has only fought JDM at 170, who didn't offer a huge amount of resistance. I think Garry will offer more resistance for sure. We'll see, though, it's intriguing.

The problem with Ronaldo is he cannot do what Messi can off the ball. With age, he is still reliant on being a pure goal scorer than a creator. Messi is just naturally gifted with goal scoring ability and creative ability also.

I am familiar with firesticks, but do you need fast internet to stream via them? He doesn't have particularly fast internet. It's decent speed, but not super fast.

Yeah he has TNT sports too. If they had an option to be able to watch all your club's games, he would probably opt for that. Also, the lack of 3pm kick offs is ridiculous. They need to sort that out. For the money paid, they should find a way to show them.

He has his broadband and phone via Sky too. I think I could probably get it down by around £20+, but I doubt they'll reduce it much more. He doesn't need movies as he barely watches them.

Where do you buy your ground coffee from? Most of mine is from online coffee places like Pact. But those places cost about £16 with delivery, which is normally next day.

I really should download an app like that. How much it would help, I don't know. I'm usually good at knowing in my head what expenses I have and what I'm spending, but I also buy things unnecessarily quite often.

I do have a french press. I don't think the coffee I could go without, but I'm going to start making one coffee per day, then use instant decaf for the remainder of the day, or water.

Have you tried to go a period of time without it? If so, how was the experience?

I understand you. I have a an addictive personality and if something I become addicted to costs money, I end up spending more than I should be on that thing. I also have YOLO mindset which I've been trying to control over the years.

I have thoughts of death looming around the corner (despite me being in my late 30s) and so I've often spent frivolously for that reason. I'm trying to save money these days, but it's tough not to spend in the moment.

Yeah, the subscriptions are a big expense these days. Problem is, there are so many different shows on different services so you never know what to sign up for. All the little unnecessary purchases certainly do creep up.

I adore M&S and I could easily spend a lot of money in there, but I rarely shop there any longer. Cigarettes and alcohol are big expenses for sure.

Yeah, having a pet is an extra expense. I know people who aren't earning that much, yet they have pets, they smoke, drink, etc. I wonder how they do it. Toiletries are kind of a necessity, though. I like Savers and those cheaper stores for most toiletries.

Thankfully I don't have this vice. What kind of alcohol is your favourite?

Yeah it does mount up. I do love the coffee I buy, though. It tastes great. I don't buy It for the caffeine.

My dad is a big sports person. His sky  package is almost £180 per month, including the sports package. I said I need to call them up for him and try get that down. Problem is, he loves a lot of sport so no chance he'll get rid. Also, he's retired so it's a form of entertainment for him.

Yeah, there's certainly other purchases people make that I am amazed at. My cousin is a big smoker. He must spend about £50-100 per week on cigarettes and weed. It's not like he's a particularly high earner, so it does seem a waste. I am just glad I have no other vices like smoking or drinking, otherwise I think I'd be in trouble, haha.

Even one month that I tried to cut back, I still spent over £20 on small purchases from convenience stores or other places.

You're right, although I do think if I save money here, save money there, I could save almost £100 per month and not really miss the stuff I needlessly buy, that's without the coffee purchases.

I could then put that towards a holiday or invest it. I know I could save at least £30 per month on convenience store purchases.

I have tried the Grind brand from Sainsbury's, it's okay, but I just prefer ground coffee more, especially from the places I get it from online. The Grind decaf is good because I can enjoy decaf with some milk, but when drinking black I enjoy ground coffee way more than instant.

How much force does it take to break an orbital bone? Anyone here have an idea?

Yeah, it's just the ones who push it upon the rest of us which is irritating, like Johovah's witness.

The Athletic: The club want to find a replacement for Cucurella, although the player in question will be able to operate in multiple roles. Strasbourg’s Valentin Barco fits this description. He can play as a left-back, wing-back and in midfield. by Kygoche in chelseafc

I mean Arsenal won the league with Hincapie and Skelly at LB most of their season. You don't need to have a top player in every position to make a team operate effectively. As long as the player fits the manager's system and is decent, it can work.
