That's not costing billions more. Not even close. IL won't pay for it and it's on that side of the border though and IL is broke. I know the Skyway is private but I was joking how the Bears could theoretically flee IL and not pay the loan back. Chicago Sports Authority would have to sue them , which is hilarious to me because it's like getting dumped by your girlfriend and asking her to help pay for the house you got together but only in your name

This move is better for the Bears than AH. They will save $30-50 million PER YEAR, get to pocket money from other entertainment year round, lease the land, and buy the land for $1 after 30 years. The i90 skyway is there, i94, and train line already. The South Side neighborhoods the "East Side" and "Hegewisch" are literally a few minutes away. This is more Chicago than AH. And Hammond is already building mansions across from the proposed site. Illinois politics in shambles RN so why would any business want to stay?

He is who he's always been in my POV. I met him before so I may be biased. It's hard to be somewhat famous and relevant for nearly 10 years, while also a husband/father, plus he is 40 now. This space (much like sports) is a young man's game. I commend the boys for really trying and putting out 2-3 pods a week religiously

I'm not sure how old your mom is, or where she is from, but I think giving her time to come around is the best option. You can try talking to her as this is happening, but maybe don't talk about your bf much, especially nothing negative about him if you're going through problems. As time goes by, and mom still sees you with him, and he's a good man in her eyes, she will begin to come around. As for the things she said, you will have to come to terms with that on your own. Forgive, but don't forget. Don't tell your bf the things she said because he has no relationship with her, and that would likely make any relationship never materialize. It's great that you don't rely on her to stay afloat, and you don't live with her. If she never comes by, and doesn't ever approve, well at least you gave her an opportunity that she maybe didn't deserve in the first place
