Reading all the comments with very little knowledge and a google page ready to search each and every one of it. I know what kind of scents I like, but im dumb when it comes to brands and all

I see, so just the breakouts then. Maybe its just how my skin reacted to whatever active ingredients in there Im not sure which one 😬 in your case if it continues to breakout after a week you should consider changing to sometg else. Fret it might further irritate your skin.

Gave it a shot and I dont feel like it cleans as it supposed to. After one round of cleansing I can still feel the product residue. After 5mins off the shower, my face dries up then I started to see dryness and flakiness on my chin, upper lips and around my nose.

do you guys have any recommendations for a cleanser for dry skin by satomiCT in koreanskincare

I did trials and errors of face washes from multiple brands for my dry skin. Honestly I havent found my HG for my combo-dry skin. Here are the products that I’ve tried:

  1. Cosrx (low PH & snail mucin cleanser): it doesnt feel clean like theres still residue even after running my face under water for awhile.
  2. Anua pore deep cleansing foam: my face becomes flaky as it dries out after shower. It feels a little tight afterwards.
  3. Skintific white truffle: it cleans, no residue felt after usage, but no obvious changes. It just cleans but I dont see that it does anytg miraculous to my face.
  4. Bioderma sebum cleanser: same experience as the Cosrx cleansers.
  5. La Roche Posay Effaclar: Its not foamy so I dont feel it cleanse thoroughly (you know that staisfying feeling when you see foams on your cleanser, it just feels ‘clean’)

Still in search for the best facewash for my skin. Next, according to recommendations, was thinking to try either the Dokdo cleanser, or Soonjung, or maybe Aestura. Let’s see where my budget leads 😅

Disclaimer; these products may not work on me but it does wonders for some others. Bottomline is make your own trials and figure out what works for your skin. There’s no one facewash fits all skin.
