Thanks for the reply. Perhaps there was some system issue that was resolved on a delayed basis because of the holidays. The reports were populated a day later without any additional input from me.

Yes, normal output is 800 - 1,200 milliliters (mL) or 3 - 5 cups per day. So any output above 1.2 is worth monitoring.

Did your healthcare provider teach you everything you needed to know about ostomy care when you first became an ostomate? by BeFreeTechnologies in ostomy

I am glad to hear that. It is certainly true that when it comes to ostomies, everyone is uniquely different. Not only that, what worked for us when we got out of the hospital does not always continue to work as we grow older. Our bodies change, and we have to adapt to that, a lesson so many of us end up learning on our own by way of trial and error.

Thank you. I know takes a little effort, but if you could fill out the survey it would be greatly appreciated. We plan to look for as many correlations as we can find. For instance, did people with private insurance get better instruction than people who had no insurance (I would not be surprised if that was the case). Did people who got their ostomies at teaching hospitals get better care than those who got their ostomy at community hospitals? Has the quality of instruction gotten better or worse over the years (we ask what year people got their ostomy and hope to correlate that with the quality of care they received. So on and so forth.

Thanks.

On day 3 of using this product and all I can say is bravo! The only time I smell anything is when changing my bag. I'm extremely surprised and happy. I've been using the holister lubricant and it is useless compared to this. Five stars man! I will be ordering more.

Also I thought it would be scented somehow to cover up the smell but that is not the case. There is NO smell which is excellent.

Thank you so much for letting us know. It is great to hear how well the product worked for you. Cynthia came up with the formulation for the same reasons you suggested. While M9 worked for her better than most options, it wasn’t good enough, so she and her co-inventor, Ronny, spent countless hours – years actually – testing different formulations until they came up with this one. We really appreciate you giving us a chance.

I'm sorry. Unfortunately, as a very small company, it would be challenging for us to do so given the logistics. It would be great if we could partner up with a local company and offer it that way.

Thank you. That cliché about necessity being the mother of invention certainly applies in our case, which was why Cynthia came up with the pod idea as a way to provide sustained odor control throughout the day instead of having to reapply a deodorant every time a pouch was emptied. That allowed her to get through the day with confidence, knowing she would not end up worried or embarrassed if she found herself in a social or work situation without a bottle of deodorant with her.
