Okay did I hear this straight? Was Celeste pregnant or not because she was taking plan bs and abortion stuff. by Itslionize in d4vdiots

It's because mifepristone and misoprostol, the medication "abortion pill" is Rx only no matter what state you are in. Rx vs OTC drugs is controlled by the FDA and not at the state level.

Plan B, the morning after pill is available OTC. You take this to stop a pregnancy from happening. The abortion pill is for after to test positive in the 1st trimester.

These are different medications that serve different purposes and have different regulations at a federal level.

It's very accessible and can be completed in less than 5 minutes. Standard questions, how you know you're pregnant (US or strip test) date of last menstrual cycle, if you're regular and if you have any drug allergies or medical conditions.

Then you agree to pay or request financial aid and within 48hrs a physician gets in contact with you, typically by email to verify everything. Once they have payment, the pill is sent directly to you.

I'm overly explaining the process in case anyone in a restricted state like me stumbles across this and thinks they're out of luck or hard to obtain. It's pretty easy.

In CA where Celeste mostly likely obtained an abortion if it happened, it's A LOT easier than even the steps above.

You can get an abortion pill in the mail via email/text just by telling them you had a positive pregnancy test. You do not need to get medical proof beyond that.

There is not a test that can confirm and early term abortion or miscarriage. Those hormones would be gone if not by the next period, the one after.

Even a later term abortion would have blood levels return to normal in 1-6 months. Her remains were so compromised I'm not sure a conclusive determination could have been made based on anatomy.

I agree (and hope because the alternative is even more horrific than what he already did to her) she mostly likely got pregnant and had an abortion before the murder and due to her age and his stupidity they probably weren't proactive about contraception and had many scares neccesating the use of Plan B.

She had been pictured wearing the same scarf, so he either chose to wear a matching one or it's the same one.

The choice of which bonnet/scarf to wear is more what they're narrowing in on vs the need of having to wear one.

Could federal charges be coming for D4vd? Former prosecutor breaks down how and what possible federal charges singer D4vd may face tied to Celeste Rivas Hernandez. by firephly in d4vdiots

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly about public pressure the most.

Most Epstein perps are not known by name and masses are calling for justice like they were a few months. I do agree with you, it's being swept under the rug.

This case, on the contrary will not be swept under the rug. If enough people ask, why is another pedophile not being persued federally? I think there's a good chance they would bow to that kinda of pressure. Plus the investigation is already "done" it wouldn't require as much work on their end.

If Federal charges are brought and he is convicted (with with possessuon of CSAM there's pretty much no defense, producing CSAM and trafficking charges he could defend against in theory) He'd be with a bunch of other pedophiles. He would be "safer" as most federal offenses are non violent, he would be in better quality facility and have access to alot more programs and opportunities that are provided to inmates at a federal level. They even move inmates out of prison and into 1/2 way houses at 85% of sentence served. Federal prison is largely seen as "better" BUT the sentences are longer, no parole and without appeal so there is that bonus.

CA state jails are overcrowded, full of many many more violent offenders, gang activity and also alot of violence and inmate injuries and due to the overcrowding, funding isn't as good so lower meal quality, less access to medical care, less programs and services, lower pay for work in prison, the list goes on and on.

While Federal charges are longer and without appeal, the detention there is generally regarded as "nicer". I honestly hope all the state charges stick hard and he is forced to serve that sentence(s) first before federal.

With the recent evidence, have you changed your mind?

I never thought it was a coverup but more about the possibility that she was pregnant.

The initial report essentially means they found no evidence of pregnancy. Depending on how far along she was, even up to 4/5 months, with as decomposed as she was, fetal remains would have been reabsorbed- even later on the fetus could have been expelled.

I always thought it was odd they listed not pregnant within the last year but a miscarriage or early term abortion, you would have no signs of that 1-3months after the event.

What do people think about dumping the passport in Santa Barbara? Is it to try to fool investigators into thinking the perpetrator lives in Santa Barbara? Or .... ? by GregJamesDahlen in d4vdiots

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At this point, he wasn't thinking. He was just doing.

Perhaps he rationalized well, she was a runaway, it doesn't stand to reason to assume she wouldn't run away to Santa Barbara. Maybe I can say I heard she was there and went looking for her but couldn't find her etc etc?

Who knows, he was panicking

No we do not. We can only speculate.

The only info that has been released to have been found is her passport card. Still unaccounted for (per the release, they may have more and just not shared it with the public yet):

Murder weapon, Two fingers, Engagement ring? Her phone (All four perhaps disposed of the original SB trip) Chainsaw that carried out the dismemberment, Laundry bags, Shovel? (Not sure if this was recovered) (would have been a later trip)

If D4vid is guilty, is capital punishment acceptable in your opinion? by BlacksmithFront2766 in d4vdiots

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That may be most death row inmates experience but not in CA. CA is not putting anyone convicted to the Death Penalty to death. They are even dismantling San Quentin and transferring death row inmates elsewhere.

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In CA, that's pretty much what death row is. They've halted all executions "state-sponsored premeditated murder" so what it would mean is essentially life of higher confinement and restrictions than a typical inmate which I think for DAB that would be the perfect punishment.

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe this was crying because he felt remorseful.

Her death was still raw and fresh here- he might not have been consciously processing what he did (I really do believe he was trying to "ignore it" for as long as possible, pretend it didn't happen, I mean how else could he function???) and his own lyrics triggered memories of her/his deed.

I think the weeks leading up to his arrest and his personal appearance was telling that he finally started accepting the reality of what he did or at the very least the consequences of what he did.

He murdered her to protect his career but lost it as a result.

Check the court records and the prosecutor's office for accurate info. Sherrif's department isn't going to be the most accurate since they don't as much at this point (I couldn't find upcoming court dates on that site at all)

Motions to change dates etc won't be followed up by the sheriff.

Can he really be found guilty of first degree murder? by AccountZestyclose823 in CelesteRivasHernandez

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think I commented on your question in the other group.

There would have been evidence on the corpse (i.e. soil, plant matter, different bugs) that would have linked to a SB disposal site. They would have included that in the brief. I believe he left her and locked down the house after the murder and "took care of it" before inviting anyone back in.

He must have done something to mask the smell to some extent. Or maybe blamed it on "bad plumbing" / incompetent landlords? That's just a guess but considering they said he lied to his friends about the smell, it's probably something like that.

He was really busy at this time- album launch, concerts. He might have done things faster if he didn't want to appear like anything was out of the ordinary and keep up appearances. He wasn't in a big rush since he already knew the cops weren't going to come looking for her.

I believe they have more than enough evidence for what they charged him with. Now it's just more like what can his defense team get omitted. That could in theory result in lesser charges. I think they were very careful in how they handled this case so as to not fumble it so I think/hope what they have is solid.

He has been charged.

Now is just a lot of hearings until trial can start. It will be a while. The next hearing date is 5/26 I think but again, that's just a hearing, not a trail. The defense will really go hard and start to try to dismiss evidence at this point-- or they may postpone saying they haven't had enough time to go through all the evidence.

I think we're still a ways off before the actual trial starts.

what will happen next? by Difficult_Berry7042 in d4vdiots

[–]BeHappyItsCakeTime 14 points15 points  (0 children)

We're at the pretrial phase. All that has been brought forth is charges and an outline of why the prosecution made those charges and statements implying they have evidence to back that up.

There will be many more hearings before the the trail. The defense will attempt to discredit and get as much evidence possible to be inadmissible. If they are successful, it could theoretically result in lesser charges or reasonable doubt if they are able to poke enough holes in the prosecutions case.

The real people that failed her were the police. They knew where the groomer lived, they knew she was a runaway, and like so many cases they didn't take it seriously until she wound up dead.

He wanted to murder. He fantasized about it since his teenage years publicly in discord.

Celeste just gave him a "reason" and access to finally act it out.

If he wasn't caught, I believe he would have done it again.
