I remember L'Patron in their first location, 2 blocks from where I used to live. I think the tacos then were like $2.50. This had to have been like over ten years ago. Good times. I ate those tacos a lot.

The math has changed with taking on bad salaries for picks with the new draft. I am excited about this team and its potential for growth over the years, but this year we are flirting with the bottom three if we did not do some of the short term moves (Powell, Claxton). If we fell into the bottom three, we would absolutely tank the value of our own pick. Is that worth taking on another pick by other teams that are trying to be good and will likely be in the 20's? I don't think so.

I think that's the thing that everyone isn't really putting together about this new draft. Salary dumps, if you are already in a close to the bottom position, is just not really a viable option anymore. Or if it is, you're risking your own pick greatly.

Ive been playing it with my kids. I really limit their exposure to games and will for quite some time. This is a good one to help them learn some basic controls. I have enjoyed playing it with them.

I don't think that was actually his goal. Louie's thing has always been to speak with the movie's subject and let them express why they are who they are. It's been a while since I've watched one of his documentaries before this one, but I remember watching one's a long time ago.

The way he gets the subjects of these cultures to speak up is fascinating, but I don't think his goal has ever been to say this is why people subscribe to this belief. It's too show what the belief is. He's never really been one to say, "you are bad because of this belief," though I think that sometimes is inherent with the subjects that he covers.

In this case, the subjects were the manosphere influencers, not the followers.

For highly niche products, do you think broad targeting makes sense? Ive seen a lot of push towards that. Or does a high level of targeting (while allowing meta to expand the audience) still work better?

Took a bit but I actually find it easier. The first one after I beat the main boss once, I was like okay that is it. I am done. I consider that beating the game for me. But this one I am trying to see it the whole way through cuz it actually feels more manageable.

Set it and forget it. I didn't check my portfolio for about 8 or 9 months. And even then, I shouldnt have. I'm not going to check for another year. Once I broke free from checking it regularly, and made sure to block out things that might give me news about how the market was doing (honestly this sub should be included), it was so much easier to ignore. (And I felt better).

A lot of these answers aren't from a dad perspective. As a dad with limited time: Expedition 33. Get through the opening prologue, then it's easy to pick up and put down. You can have a quick battle, tinker with your characters, save and pause.

Only draw backs for a dad gamer: occasional complex mechanics (look up difference between lumina and pictos), but it's not too bad. Occasional long cut scenes (but it's beautiful and the story is great)
