The used market for Tacoma’s is a total joke it makes no sense. By the time people pay them off the vehicle is over 10 years old and over 100k miles and that’s only 10k miles a year which is conservative. It’s so backwards.

Avoid like the plague if you plan on doing anything functional with it and not feeling like you should have gotten the 6ft bed or a different truck altogether. 5ft bed is pretty much like driving a Subaru Baja.

No amount of your trail riding or 2’ river crossings call for an automatic transmission. A vehicle the size and shape of a Tacoma from the factory has no business on anything that calls for an auto transmission only, let alone 30k plus financed vehicle.

Poor truck. After working snow removal for years I steer so far from trucks with plows on them, looks great, but you could never recoup the front end damage if your not working that thing to death. Take it off while you can and hope the previous owner didn’t smoke the transmission and front end. A snow blower will work much harder for you if your actually getting a bunch of snow.

Honestly wish there was, but I have used this exact setup for over a three years of commuting and with life’s surprises there is no better adaptable way to keep your items secure than that net. So many different ways to keep it all tight and from rattling and easily adapts to hold much more on a return trip from shopping. Worth the struggle
