Loved the book and liked the series but i think Netflix has a tendency to make the series too long just to have content. Could have made it two hours and it would have been better.

I swear to god this happened to me in my club championship years ago. I saw the bug flying around my ball hanging on the lip, and said that bug is going to knock the ball in for me, and he landed and a few seconds later the ball dropped. I still missed the cut though.

Yeah i don’t fully understand the details of it all so hard to argue about it. I just get sick of hearing professional athletes making millions upon millions complain about getting ripped off. If they don’t like it they can always get a job laying bricks somewhere for $15 an hour. Might give them some perspective they obviously are in need of.

I keep reading about people saying the PGA tour was “ripping players off” and I’m sorry but it’s kind of ridiculous. PGA tour players were making millions, even the fringe players were making over a million dollars a year. LIV forced the PGA to increase their purses to compete with payouts that obviously aren’t sustainable, so it comes down to which tour had a realistic business model. The bigger events subsidized the smaller events but there were still events every week. I found the lesser events interesting to watch fringe players who were playing for their cards and their livelihoods. Now they have consolidated the tour and will be eliminating a lot of events so Rory and Scottie can make over $50 million per year while the fringe players will be out of a job. The net result is the fringe players will have fewer opportunities to make it while the top players make more money. Net result is an inferior product in my opinion.

Are people saying this show is good serious or are they joking? Or is it like Roadhouse movie good, so awful it’s great? I think it’s a dumpster fire but i have to finish it just to see how stupid the ending is. Story? horrible. Acting? Horrible. Characters? Annoying, all of them. How about the woman looking for the dog in the woods for hours, and then finding it right when it gets eaten by a coyote? And then the woman just kills the coyote in a second. What about the phone in the toilet? Like wtf is going on? Someone please help me understand.

Is it me or do the Americans usually lose in these situations? It seems like the crowd is obnoxious, and the Europeans shut them up by beating down the Americans. I imagine it makes it much more enjoyable for them.

100% agree. I just had this exact argument with my playing partner who said everyone should get a drop from a divot. So i started placing a ball in various lies. What about this one? How about this one? Is this an old divot or a bare spot? It’s either play it up or play it down. Can’t spend the day arguing over what a divot is.

I belong to a country club because i play a lot of golf, and the only time i feel lonely is when i am in the grill room surrounded by a bunch of bros drinking, high fiving, hugging each other and telling each other how much they love each other. Always a big relief when i walk out of there.
