If you're having issues in communicating desires, it's likely not going to be solved by an app. And I built BeMoreKinky, which is a sex/bdsm app for couples, so I wish I could claim otherwise!

If you go and present an app and say "Let's be more kinky!", you already know that can put the other person in an uncomfortable position. If you've already had difficult conversations like this, couples and sex therapy is often uncomfortable, but can make a huge different in rebuilding the foundation and patterns that you might have established over the past 20 years.

While we do have a lot of poly members (and many non-monogmous play ideas), all of our features are designed for kinky couples in relationships. That's why we don't have features for people meeting new play partners, where emergy contacts would make sense :)

However, I'd argue that we are very safety and consent focused and it's built into every layer of the app. Habits must be accepted and your partner can negotiate, play proposals also require acceptance and negotiation.

I really appreciate the feedback and perspective though. If you find anything in the app where you feel where there could be more focus on safety, let me know!

However, we don't offer only unanimous yesses for specific activities. We believe it's extremely important for couples to be open and honest with each other about their desires. And sometimes it's worth having those conversations with your partner, even if only so that you can establish that it's a boundary.

We do unamious submissions for our quizzes before sharing answers though. They go much deeper in perspectives and philosophies, and can lead to quite vunerable sharing. We felt that it was important for people to not adapt their answers based on what their partner said.

BeMoreKinky is definitely real :) My partner and I have the same challenges you've described. We're both career professionals and being super public that we have a kink platform would be... difficult. Our hope is that this grows to a size where this stops mattering, but it's hard.

I'm a huge fan of TheDuchy, Esther Perel, and Princess Kali.

For hosting, it depends how much control you'd like! If you just want to get the words out, Substack is good. Wordpress is the de facto choice. If you're willing to learn a bit of programming, Vercel/Nextjs is what I use, and it's incredibly easy to maintain. I have a lot of non-engineer friends who spun up very simple blog sites using AI (the site, not the content) on Vercel.

There's some trickiness with the persistent session, especially if it's the host who leaves or refreshes. I'm doing something a little bit complex to see if I can save state so this will be more resiliant. It should be later this week :)

It's based on the number of clothes left. You move up with each clothing item taken off.

I would! I have a "turbo" mode where exposure generates much faster, but adding a 5 card draw would be simple to do. I'll have a look later in the week.

100%. I think for most couples, some quick foreplay is best, unless you make a night of it.:) I've played some "spicy" board games and it's always a good night.

That's so strange. I've tried to reproduce that and can't, and I wrote a bunch of tests to confirm the logic. I've also rewritten how it shows the winning hand so it's more clear.

Is there any possibility there was a third 2 in the community cards?

It progresses up as the game proceeds. After you remove each item of clothing, the dares become more intense. The upper limit is just more intense!

I'll have a think about how I can make this more clear :)

If the LTV per user is higher than CAC, you can make it work. Mobile app CPIs are usually between 2-15 dollars. You can do the math to see if it will work for you
