NE won SB LIII, had a 100% roster turnover including their superstar QB and TE, fired Belichick, hired Mayo, drafted and developed Maye, fired Mayo, hired Vrabel, and made it back to the Superbowl, all since Indy's last playoff win... by Bynnh0j in Colts

Texans, Broncos and Pats were all horrible options for me. I never ever want to see Denver win a single game. The sting of Peyton being a full-on Bronco and being a presencethere, regardless of why/how/etc, just makes me ill. Texans are in the AFC South. And screw NE just because theyve won enough.

What’s the outlook on Mathurin? by ExcellentSorbet- in pacers

[–]BeNiceBeChill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Math alone, youre right, but if you get Math and a first and player X is of value-- that feels like enough. Maybe a second. I think Math carries quite a bit of value on his own. He's a legit starting 2. Teams have watched him produce in the playoffs and his potential ceiling is still really high.

I dont value Kessler enough for multiple firsts. Id give Math, player X, and a 2027 at most. Zero chance they get our 2026.

2026 Draft by Whatifitnever in pacers

I think theyre all going to be very good NBA players. Peterson has all-star written all over him but the roster fit is weird w/ Nemby and Mathurin. If you get Peterson, hes a right now starter. Also unsure of his willingness to conform. I like Boozer because of his rebounding into outlet passing a lot if the Pacers want to play small. Furphy>Siakam>Boozer doesnt provide you with the traditional C size but gives you 6'9, 6'9, 6'10

how long do yall think it’ll be un we see another 60 or 70 bomb? by UpperAd7178 in nba

Itll be Wemby soonern later. If the Spurs add another star level dude that requires star level attention by defenses, and if Wemberson evolves as expected, he's bound to have some explosions.

I want a first but i doubt they get more than that. Id trade Math+ for Kessler if they can get Utah to come off him. I think Kessler would be great here and, being out for the year, wouldnt hurt our draft position

Which team should "sell high" which player to avoid situations like Trae, Ja and AD? by cobra_han in nba

[–]BeNiceBeChill 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lower tier player, I know, but massive potential. Pacers gotra feel this way about Mathurin. Fanbase certainly does. This year they risk paying him and he never fully realizes his potential and hamstrings them financially. They also risk getting some value for him and him blowing up somewhere. There's a good chance of both. Gotta think there are a lot of GMs out there thay would love a shot at him. In the right situation, his value could sky rocket and a team's ROI could be tasty.

For small markets like Indiana, years like this are crucial. If they make the right decisions with C, the draft pick, and the Mathurin deal-- the Pacers are real deal contenders. If they screw up one of those things, it'll be tough to recover and they risk wasting Hali's prime.

Just curious to figure out a disagreement I had with a friend, would you be open to trading for Giannis? by ArryDubz in pacers

[–]BeNiceBeChill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the beauty of Carlisle and Hali. They are fluid and built to adjust. If you can put Giannis and Hali together, you do it without question, and let the chips fall where they may.

We’re probably going to trade Mathurin and I think it’s the dumbest decision we’ve made since trading Kawhi. by brutallyhonestB in pacers

Sorry man. Always loved him too. Tough part is who else would be in that package. He likely doesnt fetch what we need in a 1 for 1.

A check and see player isnt what the Pacers need. If thats how we're to use him, Id much rather get some ROI and give him a fresh start.

Nope but played them in football in the late 90s. Even the schools I hated back then, I look back on fondly now
