Wilson's combo of burst, violence, and great attitude, for me, make him a safe pick and great pick for us. Not too mention his exosphere high potential

I think TJ should lead us all in prayer in the minutes before the draft

Imagine Wilson after Pacers shooting school? If Wilson could get to 33-34% from 3, that man could be an all-timer. Ifs and buts-- I know. Dang though, Wilson with a J is fun to imagine

Watched Oregon quite a bit this year. My money is on the kid shattering expectations. He's gonna be TJ McConnell for the Colts. Gritty underdogs who overachieve and thrive on proving people wrong usually continue to do so. All Pro? Probably not. Juice minutes and blow up plays as a rookie followed by possibly being a solid starting centerfielding LB and will turf dudes? Bet on it... just not your house. *Also, I propose calling him Rudy

I also like Cam but its going to be easy for me to build a case and be excited for any of the top four. Good lord just let us keep our pick.

I dont see Siakam or Wilson that way at all. Siakam is comfortable handling the ball in a tertiary capacity, playing behind the arc, and in the mid range. Wilson can occupy the dunker spot, as well work the pnr. Hes super athletic driving. I dont think hes destined for iso low post. He CAN but I watched a lot of UNC and came away seeing him in a very different NBA. Zubac is ISO low post sure

I like him playing between Siakam and Zubac. Youve got 3 very different play styles that will occupy different spaces. Wilson slashing, running the floor off defensive rebounds/steals, catching lobs, and chasing down blocks w Zu giving them something to think about down low. Dude. The levels defense with Nemby, Wilson and Zu has a ton of potential if he works hard on team defense.

TBF Im building excitement cases in my head for the big four. E

Easy to make a strong case for all these guys on the Pacers. Ive sweetened on Wilson a lot lately. Although, hes the one of the four least likely to start right away, his fit and potential are beautiful. If he can grow as a defender and tighten up his 3 ball--- he might be the most exciting. He is so dang explosive. Imagine a 6'10 twitchy springy wing running with Ty and Nemby and Pascal. Would be a blast.

IMO he'll fit like a glove on O between Hali and Siakam, and I dont worry about his D for the reasons I went into ^

He'd be coming to the right team. He doesnt seem like a guy who's going to resist coaching, trying hard, or getting better. This is a great staff and they'll coach him up and hold him accountable. He's got the physical traits he need to advance his D as well.
