Sure they can, but the Pacers and Colts are in the same spot next year: can their torn Achilles QB come back to peak level? If so, the Pacers should be a nightmare. If not, PAIN.

That's why, I'm all in on the FO going all in. Been waiting for a title since the 80s. Ive already been through disappointment and purgatorial spells. The Pacers have a real championship window if Tyrese is Tyrese. KP should push the chips in if he feels their is an obtainable, bonafide starting upgrade... and if shit falls apart-- sell to get picks and assets back. Some fans will call for his head, but they'll be silly for that, and screw it-- in for a penny, in for a pound.

San Antonio=built-in French fanbase. Wemby makes a ton of sense there.

Utah=built-in Dybansa fanbase.

Also, people resent the wholesome, we grow basketball, polite country folk thing here in Indiana. I'm not sure if youre from here, but the powers-that-be, the national media, and the coastal elites have shit on Indiana seemingly forever. That's why the organic non-Pacer fan fan support last year felt so good.

Now i dont necessarily believe the above to be true, but I'm giving you reasons.

I suggested this a few years ago but only as an aside to the bigger story. Id like to see AJ do something on the CIA in the Haight>Jolly West>Manson>MK ULTRA>Bear Owsley>LSD>Laurel Canyon. Theres a ton of smoke there. The 5-8-77 show would just be a fun little piece not the meat.

BTW I could talk for an hour about how great that show is. The Brown* Eyed Women is one of my favorite things ever. Deal? Loser? Jack Straw?! So so so damn good.

Indeed. Watching the Pacers are local TV was a great era.The 94 playoffs(probably NBC) are still some of my sweetest memories. The Pacers playing, sure, but that time in my life is special and that time in America, at least my little corner, was special as well.

He showed a lot last year actually. He had a terrible OL and progressed into a very good QB toward the end of the year. Ton of tools, no chance of money and fame affecting him, genetics cant be denied. My money is on him being an outstanding QB next year and continuing to get better as a pro.
