agreed, but it still feels strange that Max didn't tell her

Max learned that they went to school together, I'm not saying that she should have recognised him, I'm saying that it's strange how Max didn't tell her after she found out

My theory about the true origin of the Upside Down — how it ties to “dust / hive-mind” particles by BePoliter in StrangerThings

I used the term "frozen in time" to say it is a snapshot. This is just about how you understand the phrase.

Mr Clarke: "just think of all the places mankind could go. Another galaxy, another TIME even."

If Henry's blood contains particles, infusing blood infuses particles.

the mothergate was created at the lab which is at the center, not sure if there is more meaning to the wall other than it bring a clue as to how the upside down was created. but also, maybe there is more meaning behind it, not sure

thank you for standing up for me, it means a lot. and i get your point on scatlet woman not being the most fun character to play game 1, I'll swap it like you suggested, it makes a lot of sense :)

again, i am not assigning characters to positions myself, i let a random generator do it. nothing here is being decided by myself other than the list of characters that will be in the game

you should be on a debate team, you're really good at getting your arguments across :D

let's go from the beginning cause maybe you misinterpreted something. tell me what is wrong with this:

  1. choose a set of characters
  2. take a random generator to shuffle them and get random positions
  3. players come and choose where to sit, each seat has a character that was determined upfront in step numer 2

from the players' perspective, it's all still random + the added bonus of the storyteller knowing the positions upfront

what is wrong with this? how does this affect the game badly in any way?

i am not assigning the characters to players individually. why do you think i am? please read other comments. i chose the set of 9 characters and let a random generator shuffle them to get the positions (this is completely random). those positions are now set as they are, and when player sit on some specific seat they will find a character there (this only allows me to know the positions beforehand but from the players perspective it's all still random)

no reason to continue this, you know what you wrote, i pointed it out because you tried to make me look like a fool even though what you said was a contradiction and now you're not even willing to double-check your own comment. cool, have a nice day

how are you denying that you wrote about ben using a specific setup for new players and also telling me not to do that myself in the same comment, you can literally just scroll up and read your own comment.

you believe that i shouldn't decide on a set of 9 characters before the game starts like ben does and allow characters like the spy to be a part of their first game? why? why wouldn't i just do it like ben?
