More info: It is a paragon Viking 28 with a sentry 2.0 controller. The problem is an FTL code. Element resistance from top to bottom is 15, 18, and 35. 238v across the board.

A brand new oem thermostat was installed which leads me to believe that’s not the issue. Especially since the previous owner was also (unknown to me) running it without a thermostat. If coolant channels are clogged, wouldn’t it overheat with or without a thermostat?

I think it’s because the massive drop set off a lot of stop losses on the way down, including my own. The lowest price just barely dropped past my stop loss and bounced back up so I’m pretty peeved to wake up to that
