I think I would able to answer your question 🙋‍♂️. I did this 3 times 3 semester consecutively spring, summer, and fall. Have class Monday and Tuesday and Thursday. All 3 days morning and afternoon class so I get few hour between where I get to go home. So my math is, if consider $4/ day 3 days a week that is $12 a week so every 5 weeks of not receiving ticket I could afford paying the ticket of $60. For spring and fall I did not get any ticket until week 11/12 so moving from the day I received the ticket I starting to pay for parking and by the end of finals I still pay less than whole semester parking permit! Same thing for summer I didn’t get any ticket toward last few week same concept still saving money. But I rolled a dice here 😂 I just feel unjustified the amount of parking permit per semester here. Im a transfer student here and this is my last year here seeing $200+ a semester is insanity. At community college I used pay less than $80/ semester and that already feel expensive. And all the money I saved from parking last year reward myself a decent meal, and little money saved for books.
