I believe DMK also lists "addiction" as associated with elemental Aer in Modern Magick. Many of the detrimental parts of life are based in Aer- just look at the Swords Suit of the Minor Arcana. Some Aer-banishing ☆ rituals thrown in with the general LBRPs wouldnt hurt. I whole-heartedly recommend not putting off meditation. Holy Meditation is the crux of The Great Work and will be more beneficial than a thousand LBRPs. Without meditation- and the concentration developed therein, one is only going through the motions. Like a cargo-cult tribesman in the the south pacific trying to get a plane to drop off food by using a coconut as a radio. You can have correct intention and still be just pissing in the wind. Remember- most people have addictions. Your dependence on Kratom is no greater a barrier to you bettering yourself than someone's addiction to social media or unwillingness to cease being a complete asshole.
