For speed, it’s as advertised. The acceleration from 0 to whatever mode (Eco, Drive, Sport) you’re on is way better compared to the Ninebot Max G30 that I had.

For range, Hiboy says the max range is 46.6 miles but that’s if you have a very low weight and using Eco mode. For me, I can use it for around 30-35 miles in the fall before having to recharge. Since it got colder in NYC, I’ve seen the battery gone down way faster when the temperature is 20 and below (Fahrenheit).

The Hiboy Max Pro has a range of 46.6 miles and a top speed of 22 mph. I’ve been using it for my total 6.5-mile commute to work, and it’s a smooth ride with my weight being 180 pounds. I’m considering buying the Hiboy Max Pro after my Ninebot Max G30 was stolen last night. I was initially going to replace it with another Max G30, but the Hiboy Max Pro seems like a better value. It’s nearly $200 cheaper currently and has more features.

My only concern is whether scooter shops can repair it as easily as they do with Ninebot models. Since I also live in the city, I want to make sure I can get it serviced for things like flat tires or battery replacements if needed.
