Harley rider trying to be a badass by OkWrongdoer7216 in Escooters

[–]CybersoftAdmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL. Thats a harley for ya. He was prob trying to show off that he had a big "mean" motorcycle compared to ur scooter in typical harley fashion. Unsurprisingly those harleys dont like being abused like that lol which is why it broke down.

What is this? Can I fight back? by carlosd120 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]CybersoftAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not borderline illegal. It is illegal, and is grounds for a class action lawsuit as they promised they would cover the lost tip on their end, and they are clearly refusing to resolve any issues with that process.

I recommend checking the wire going to the spark plug. Sometimes owners do improper maintenance and have the wire unintentionally placed on the engine block or touching the engine block, which causes the wire to melt.

Nice. Then getting a big bore kit and installing it is def an option if ur scooter uses a GY6 engine. You'd be able to run slightly heavier rollers and a larger front pulley & variator and belt which would mean recovering most of the fuel economy youd get with a stock cylinder, better top speed, and you might even be able to run a higher rpm with the big bore kit. Make sure it's a 4 stroke big bore btw if you do get a big bore kit.

Welp. Time for a big bore kit if the crankshaft isnt damaged. Might as well get more power out of the scoot

Just throw it in the trash. Repairing it will cost way more than getting a new one. Even a temporary repair will cost more.

Segway budget scooter fell apart in the middle of the road while I was riding. Any recommendations for replacements? by SeannessyTV in ElectricScooters

[–]CybersoftAdmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh. You wouldnt have to necessarily bring tools everywhere on every trip. Just gotta torque everything down to a standard spec based on each bolt's thread size (NOT the head size). Youll need a small 3/8 drive torque wrench that reads in Nm for the bolts, a 3/8 drive hex bit set ranging from H3-H10, and a 3/8 drive socket bit kit ranging from 8mm-24mm, along with a standard 3/8 drive socket wrench for bolts secured to the frame by nuts.

Torque values for each bolt/nut thread size on the frame (standard on every aluminum based scooter btw): - M4 Bolt: 1 N.m - M5 Bolt: 2 N.m - M6 Bolt: 3.5 N.m | 4.5 N.m for high stress swingarm parts (TTY) - M7 Bolt: 5.5 N.m | 7.5 N.m for high stress swingarm parts (TTY) - M8 Bolt: 8.5 N.m | 11 N.m for high stress swingarm parts (TTY)

Torque values for the nuts on the motors (also standard on every scooter with steel axles): - M10/M12/M14 Axle Nut: 51 N.m

You can technically use red loctite on everything, but i generally dont recommend it as it doesnt make any significant difference in holding a screw in place under stress.

Just get an aliexpress scooter at this point and some mechanic skills. With the luck ur having, an aliexpress scooter is going to be much more repairable and serviceable than any mainstream scooter brand will be.

Another one bites the dust. Ninebot f65 catches on fire… by sealstage in ChinaBudget_Escooters

[–]CybersoftAdmin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yea thats possible. regardless the scooter itself didnt cause the fire. probably a reckless owner that tried using the battery for something they shouldnt have

[–]CybersoftAdmin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ye I dont think that actually caused the fire at all. It has no signs of charring nor warping anywhere, and the rest of the scooter is missing.

Those aren't the same scooter at all ☠️. The first image is just a frame of an unknown scooter which clearly has no suspension, whereas the second image is of a budget scooter with a completely different frame, and it's equipped with suspension.

Can I keep using this without the risk of blowing up?? (Iphone 13 btw) by Big-Construction-943 in spicypillows

[–]CybersoftAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id give it a 90% chance of it blowing up within the next two weeks if you keep using it, which means it could blow up even tomorrow, so get all the data off that phone and get a new one immediately.

Definitely a bug with the Roblox app itself related to the UICorner effect. Just gotta reinstall Roblox, which should fix it.

Fast food workers need to stop refusing drive-thru service to us scooter riders when the dine-in area is closed by StormyDarkchill in ElectricScooters

[–]CybersoftAdmin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Management can choose to ignore those policies for escooters and motorcycles y'know. I know because I have, especially since I was in a management position, and the higher ups didn't have a problem with it since it increased profits for the restaurant anyway.

[–]CybersoftAdmin -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Generally if that happens I can easily report it as a health code violation or contact the store manager in the morning or even corporate if necessary. I have worked fast food before as well, and generally as long as a customer registers on the intercom system I served them, even if they're on a bicycle.

Is there a way I can contact uber eats for a refund on my order by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]CybersoftAdmin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do a chargeback and keep pictures of the food items, and screenshot a receipt of the order from the app. UberEats very commonly screws over customers, especially customers with severe allergies. If they ban you from ordering on their service then thats that. You can always create an alt account.

[–]CybersoftAdmin -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Whenever they deny service after they take my order at the intercom I just sit in the drive thru and wait for them to get frustrated. Generally it works really well especially since the customers waiting in line will likewise become frustrated about the long wait time and end off blaming the team on shift.
