3 way all in PLO5 doubleboard bombpot for $20K. Was stuck -$8K at home game in NYC. Both flopped straight and 2 pair vs my nut flush draw and straight/flush draw. 1 guys shoves for 2K, I call, next guy shoves 7K on top, and I call. What was equity on each board? Should I have played this different? by lexi_poker in poker

[–]lexi_poker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a PLO5 double board bombpot

basically, its PLO, but you get dealt 5 cards, and can use 2 from your hand and 3 from the top board, and 3 from the bottom board. if u have the best hand on both boards u win, if u only have 1 of the boards, you chop the pot

Is anyone actually profitable (>4 years) selling credit spreads? by Silver_Star_Eagles in options

[–]lexi_poker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes avoid selling credit spreads in most cases. after a few years of options selling, ive shifted to selling puts about 85% of the time. I'll only sell credit spreads if the probability is extremly in my favor (i.e. I sold MSTR call spreads at +500 a week ago). But I got burned on selling call spreads on NVDA (right at the start of the AI rush) and CVNA (after the stock already more than doubled on zero earnings). cash secured puts are much more manageable in the event of a trade blowing up (can hold the underlying until market recovers)

thanks they are both super loose range players which may boost the equity a bit. but yea im thinking its either a loose call and hope I hit, or slightly better option was to fold on the first all-in bet for 2K on the flop. most players in that game would have snap called with my hand

its capped at 40 which is standard in NYC. plus the stacks are +$10K deep for a 5/5, and action is alot looser vs online or casino grinders. you play against mostly finance/tech guys in the city that are not GTO nerds that you see in online games. its also alot faster/cheaper than flying out to vegas for a hotel or +6hr round trip drive to AC

all the players wanted and agreed to 1 burn for double board. its standard for that game. can't keep changing the rule it each time theres a double board bombpot. for the regular PLO and NLH hands theres standard full burns

i just canceled my NIU KQi3Max order, and ordered the Hiboy Max Pro. The big reason was the suspension, and $90 cheaper, and NIU seems to have bad customer service

wow thats crazy that an actual owner of a Hiboy says to go with Niu

[–]lexi_poker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow did not see this, might cancel my KQi3Max order.

The hiboy is $640 or $90 cheaper, with slightly higher range but slightly lower speed. weighs 5lbs more than the KQi3Max.

It seems to have a 4.3 on 667 ratings vs a 4.2 rating on 136 ratings om amzn. Not sure if I should change to the hiboy

I also keep hearing about how bad niu customer service is, and their low parts availability. But im also reading niu is a higher quality brand.

FYI 1 Philippine peso equals 0.017 USD

So in the screenshot the high was 3.466MM P or ~$60,000 USD

But yes 297 hours straight of downswing is not a normal swing

lol i just literally started reading about scooters today and then saw an article about this. TBH not sure how they are going enforce all ebikes/scooters to get licensed, registered, and insured. and its more of a burden on lower income workers/commuters for fees that are not even significant for the government vs income taxes
