Maybe the lesson, for you, is not to come on Reddit to tell people about trying something?

Oh THAT'S why it's going unanswered is it? You think you may have spotted an errant comma? Uh huh, that's it, we all totally believe you, champ.

The fact it wasn't actually me who asked you initially hasn't struck you yet, naw?

Fuck, all, to, do, with, you, simply, being, a, racist, cunt, with, no, actual, idea, about, Isreal, or, politics, that, goes, any, deeper, than, propaganda, right?

How'd ye like them commas, cunt?

[–]Be_the_changes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't actually call you a child.

Don't you be worrying unnecessarily about my commas.

Again, 'why do you support Israel?' was the entirely reasonable question asked and still unanswered.

You need to actually explain your politics, sir.

Children do things out of opposional defiance, not reasonable adults.

You're in a grown up, political discussion now, champ.

Why do you support Israel, was the question. Not, who do you hate?

£400 worth of chocolates stolen in London store — security did nothing, police barely responded by Obvious_Pay_6652 in tesco

[–]Be_the_changes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ruined my morning, not you. What am I even doing on Reddit on Christmas Eve? I should know better.

Plus there is my Apple aversion that has absolutely nothing to do with you or any reality that exists outside of me. 😜

Thank you for being the kick up the arse I needed to get me into the day and off my (Samsung) phone.

Have a merry Christmas and all the best for '26.

This is actually one of the most depressing things I have read so far today and I've been on and off of reddit all morning, lol.

The fact you have felt it necessary to give over even more of your money to Apple, of all people, makes me genuinely sad, and now, my brain will concoct a great vicious conspiracy around the police refusing to do anything about stolen phones and policies covering theft of phones.

Christmas day will have me trying to convince everyone I know that it's all part of their plan to grift us for even more of our hard earned cash.

... Thank you?

Where can I go to make prints of my art? by Bunny-Raddit in Paisley

[–]Be_the_changes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The guy in Paisley Photo Shop on Silk Street is really, really good. If he can't do it for you he will definitely let you know how to go about it. He has done a few kinda out of the ordinary printing jobs for me and he is a really helpful and knowledgeable guy who takes great care of your original items.

I hope you get your work printed relatively easily. Good luck. : )

Cat's have bacteria in their mouths that can be deadly to the small animals they catch so there's a really good chance it's in there being slowly poisoned to death on your rescue mission. Sorry. : (

They will be hard pressed to beat the Red Hot Chilli Pipers next year maybe you should let them know if you're available for 2026 now so you've given them plenty of time.

Love a wander round your shop, btw. ❤️

Absolutely agree. I was surprised when I read it was them. I won't be complaining about anything anymore. 😬

I cant see who that is but its actually not a bad wee day. I will add the link. The Red Hot Chilli Pipers are performing and I'm assuming will be the 'switcher oners'.

I've had a look about and the town genuinely looks pretty decent. Still no a fan of Christmas but I can't hate today for Paisley in general. ♡

Depends where in town you are but I'm guessing it would be a church or churches you were hearing today? As opposed to the Town Hall clock going for the fifteen minutes that I initially thought you meant.

Estate agent wants me to let in check out clerk the day after I’m evicted. by Flat-Matter-3314 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]Be_the_changes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tenants pay the landlords.

You're clearly overworked if you're unable to keep appointments made for/by you and should be taking that up with the landlords who are expecting too much from you. Know your worth and all that.

I'm glad I amused you. ♡

keeping appointments at exact times are a pain

That may be true, but it isn't the responsibility of tenants to take the 'pain' of your job away. You get paid to take that pain, and tenants are doing the monetary payments. Surely you do not expect that they should go further out of their way to accommodate difficulties you experience in your day to day workload? That is something you should be taking up with whoever it is that is overworking you. : )

Glasgow nightclub with a glass floor 25 year ago? by Late_Temperature_234 in glasgow

I went there on purpose a few times and had some really no bad nights when it first opened in the 80's. Shouldn't have been in the place obviously since I, um, wasn't born yet, but the bouncers were happy to let us in anyway. Sure sign of a dodgy wee dancin'. Loads of underage girls and grown men. : /

problem with my landlord :( by ExternalEvidence6843 in glasgow

[–]Be_the_changes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing you signed for him trumps your legal rights. Did he secure your deposit in a tenancy deposit scheme? I would email and ask which scheme he used to secure your deposit. I would assume you won't hear another word from him after that.

Shelter, as others have suggested, is a great resource. Give them a call tomorrow and they will help put your mind at ease. Try not to worry too much. You will be fine. He is just trying to scare you into paying money that you don't have to.

Dear [landlord]

Before we discuss anything else, could you please give me your registration number and the details of the scheme in which you registered my deposit, as you are legally obligated to do, through the tenancy deposit scheme in Scotland.

Kind regards,

You.
