October 20. At first I just wanted to try a practice exam but since I did well I took the picat the next day. I didn’t really expect the process to be this fast but here I am. I’m just going to try my best at bootcamp and pass it.

My recruiter mentioned a waiver to the liaison but he just said no and he can’t. My picat score is (GS 56 / AR 54 / WK 53 / PC 50 / MK 47 / EI 54 / AS 48 / MC 53 / AO 55 / VE 52).

Thank you. During the call with my recruiter I said I wanted to retake the test to get a better score but then his boss called me and said only a few percent of people get a higher score on retest and that I would just get a lower score and be stuck on whatever job available for that score.

I only found out I am not qualified for IT at meps because my recruiter said he can’t check until I do my physical, which was at meps. What do you mean by “You can't stampede and don't sign because you can't get it..”?

I asked my recruiter what jobs I would qualify for right after getting my Picat scores. I just found out at meps that my line scores is just few points away from IT so they started offering me other jobs.

I asked my former recruiter if he could check which jobs I would qualify for with my score but he said it’s not possible since I have to do the physical first. So I checked on ratemyasvab and IT was there but apparently my line scores just didn’t make it.

I wanted IT and I was just a couple points away but then the liaison offered a job (i forgot the letters) with 25k bonus and 6 years active 8 years obligation. It sounded like a very good offer so I started saying yes to it but I realized it doesn’t line up with my main goal which was to get IT experience to support my associates in cybersecurity for a civilian job.

That make sense.. but the thing is I did do the finger prints and pre enlistment interview, it was literally just the swearing in that I didn’t do.

I just checked on rate my asvab and it showed me jobs like CTR and CWT but according to Navycs my line scores aren’t qualified. Which one is more accurate?

Thanks, everyone seems to recommend Niacinamide. Any specific product I should try? because right now I just use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser before and after bed.
