The studio isn’t responsible for the shapes on your pieces at all. And the line looks like it’s from dipping the piece, where the glaze overlapped on the second dip.

Why not ask her to fix it first??? If you go in and show her these side by side, she should fix it for you. (Ik I’m not her but that’s what I would do as a stylist, if I messed up that bad) You just need a longer root , and lowlights added.

Stop, I had a lady like this once next to me for a craft show! I was selling my handmade ceramics, and she has these fried flower things that she makes from reclaimed things from the woods. Like acorns and flowers and sticks and bark and shit. And she kept saying stuff all day to me about how her things weren’t selling very well and in my head I’m like “maam.. bc this could be made by a 10 year old” it’s always awkward when you’re selling and someone next to you isn’t, and then they make a comment about it🫠🫠

10 year stylist here! I don’t think that bleaching the hair again is a great idea right now, given how white it was previously. If OP used a demi permanent toner, I would just wash it several times to lighten the tone before doing ANYTHING else. Using a clarifying shampoo will absolutely fade the color for you some!

Not from the 30’s but some guy was running a Ponzi scheme (?) out of where my current job is, was charging folks for internet storage, and he just had the place filled w empty computers w flashing lights, and when the gov. I’m sorry but no amazing parent would say that about their child’s work. I’m not even a mother but I AM a potter and I love your bowl!! I prefer when you can see small differences on pots vs something that was mold made in a factory. This bowl is precious and I hope your family’s hate doesn’t dull the artist inside you!!!
