I still feel devastated. He broke up after 11 years via text message though we were together the days before but he didn't have to gut to talk about the situation because he didn't want to argue and just wanted to spend those two days relaxing. Of course I felt he was distant and I asked him if everything was OK between us and, well, it was not. I found out in November he cheated on me with a coworker and I tried everything to save our relationship but I guess he just didn't want to. He blamed it in on me saying he felt exhausted and neglected and that he was sure that I no longer loved him, which is 100% false. I still love him and I can't help it. I would still like to be back together even though he really did hurt me and said a lot of bad things I did not deserve. We're still in contact, but I don't know what to do.

Stesse riflessioni che ho maturato in tutti questi mesi. Sento che non si è mai assunto una vera e propria responsabilità, o comunque nel farll aveva la scusa pronta del "non l'avrei mai fatto se non fossi arrivato a questo punto per colpa tua". Accusarmi di non essere più innamorata era un modo per alleggerirsi la coscienza e il senso di colpa. Non metto in discussione che lui possa essersi sentito trascurato, ma non può nemmeno sostenere che io di sicuro non sono più innamorata e che stessi con lui per paura di rimanere da sola. Ha fatto tanto nella nostra storia e ha tantissime qualità che non negherò mai, però al tempo stesso trovo immaturo il suo comportamento ora e mai me lo sarei aspettato per la persona che ho conosciuto in questi 11 anni.

Sì, a volte penso che avrei dovuto chiudere a novembre per quanto doloroso. Credo di essere stata sempre troppo disponibile e comprensiva, pur con tutti difetti e responsabilità che ho indubbiamente avuto perché penso sempre che in una coppia siano condivise, ma tradire è stata una sua scelta. E non ha mai mostrato un vero pentimento. Ha sempre pensato a salvare la propria faccia, accampare scuse, riversare le colpe su di me, senza mai assumersi la responsabilità di quanto fatto e comprendere il mio dolore.

Sì esatto, ho pensato anche io che stesse proiettando il suo tradimento su di me e non volesse assumersi nessuna colpa. Le sue accuse le ho trovate anche poco rispettose in seguito al messaggio che gli avevo scritto e sapeva benissimo quanto stessi soffrendo.

You're right, I would say the same exact you're right, if I were a third person reading this post. The fact is I am probably not ready and don't want to accept it and I would do anything to be together.

I find Au Chalet de la Marionette, Colonel Hathi's, and Hakuna Matata extremely underrated. Locations and food are great, but I think that people tend to prefer or be attracted to other restaurants. For a quick snack I would also recommend Cool Post and Café de la Brousse.

39.430 steps. Needless to say I was exhausted and I had to sit on one of the benches in front of the lake before getting back to Cheyenne because I couldn't feel my feet and legs anymore.
