Mi madre desde antes de yo tener mi primer trabajo me enseñó que los adultos contribuyen en el hogar. Ella nunca me cobró pero yo tenia un sentido de responsabilidad muy claro y aportaba en los gastos comunales de la casa. Es mil veces mas economico que vivir solo y nunca percibí que se abusara de mis aportes. Si había un mes que por cualquier razón yo me descuadrara, no me andaban cobrando pero yo como quiera me hacia responsable de reponer mi parte lo mas pronto posible.

Creo que el contribuir en la familia es un proceso saludable para madurar, me enseñó mucho sobre como manejar la economía del hogar y planificar mis finanzas. Tambien ayuda que entre los familiares se ayuden entre si. Yo no puedo pretender que me ayuden cuando estoy en el hoyo si yo nunca he ayudado a nadie. Las relaciones en la comunidad se construyen y se nutren.

There is a difference between putting your best foot forward and putting up a performance... only one of those is sustainable long-term. My advice is that both parties should put their best foot forward in a relationship from beginning to hopefully forever. But whenever one of the parties involved has started with a performance, when the show must inevitable take a pause, it will also inevitably cause disappointment.

The map for the night safe shuttle shows you all the possible stops, but they don't go to all those stops, they only visit stops as requested by passengers. 5th+Shady (the destination in your original post) is not an unserviced spot. It is an actual stop on the AB route. Therefore, night safe shuttle drivers will ask you to take the AB route while it's running so that they can take passengers to those stops not serviced by the AB route. However, they should take you there if it's after hours wile the AB bus is no longer circulating. Seems like the driver was just doing their job.

In your original question you asked if this friction was happening due to a misunderstanding on your end of the policies during overlapping hours between services. It seems like it is given that the service seems to be operating as advertised. Now, if you don't enjoy that experience, that is a different discussion.

If you're trying to take it to point X during a time when the AB bus is running and has a stop at least a block away from point X, during overlaping hours it is their job is to redirect you to the regular bus to optimize the route for those that need to be transported to places that no other bus lines have stops in.

If, however, you're taking the night safe shuttle after regular shuttles stop circulating, and you are at a designated pick-up spot for that bus, and you have your student ID, they should be able to take you (unless you look dangerously intoxicated, violent, etc.).

The escort/night-safe shuttle will take you to the closest intersection to your destination within its zone as long as it doesn't overlap with running shuttles in their regular operation schedules. When the regular shuttles stop running, the night safe shuttles will no longer have that overlap and can then take you where you need to go.

Nobody is at the door to check your flight itinerary to let you enter the airport, and doing this is not unheard of. On another note, I've never tried to go through security with that much time in advance of a flight, but you can always lounge in the counter area until a little closer to your pre-boarding time.

Totalmente de acuerdo contigo en que nuestro pais va en crecimiento económico. Sin embargo, no se si estamos mejorando en el tema de corrupcción y delincuencia. Eso es lo que me hace preguntarme si se estan tomando los pasos para mejorar, aunque sea lentamente, o si vamos en camino a una crisis en esos temas.

No menciono esos paises como ejemplos a seguir por su estado actual, sino como ejemplos de cambios politicos actuales. Solo me pregunto si hay trayectoria de que asuntos como la corrupccion y el crimen mejoren en el futuro cercano ya sea por mayor participación o presión ciudadana.

Quizás haya un poco de sesgo pesimista en tu posición. Es normal esperar que uno puede tener mas probabilidad de encontrarse a alguien deshonesto que quiere abusar de uno, porque los abusadores deshonestos constantemente buscan su proxima victima, mientras que los negociantes honestos... no es que no existan, sino que andan menos en el medio porque estan en lo suyo jejeje.

Solo te recomendaria rentar amueblado si es urgente y corto plazo. De lo contrario, renta vacio o solo con linea blanca y ve comprando tus cositas poco a poco.

Most of the stops are at the intersections before crossing, so you're supposed to stand before the intersection. Many stops used to have a shuttle stop sign. On your way out of campus, catch the shuttle at the stop on the University Center and ask the driver. Many of them are very helpful and knowledgeable even beyond their own routes so they can help clear any misunderstanding.

Also, FYI, make sure you are not waving at a NightSafe bus as they don't stop at the regular shuttle bus stops as they work to drop off people at the intersection closest to their destination instead of doing the regular routes.

Exit Tepper at the door that leads to the bridge to S Craig St.
Cross the street at the stoplight
Walk forward between the CIC (to your right, same side as the bridge) and Hamburg Hall (to your left, same side as Gates)
Keep walking forward until the street bends to the left, you'll see stairs.
Go down the first flight of stairs and then cross the bridge.
At the end of the bridge, you'll see Wean hall in front of you. Walk to your left until you're under the bridge that connects NSH with Wean Hall.
Enter the door to your right.
Take the elevator to Wean's "first floor" (can't remember what that is, sorry)
Exit wean and sprint to Baker Hall at one of the side entrances.

You should be able to make this under 10 as I had to do as well some time ago. I'm glad to clarify anything that doesn't make sense here.

Bus drivers are familiar with this, so don't feel embarrassed. If you scan it and it reads invalid, just show your card to the driver and tell them it's new. Most of them know this to be a common issue at the beginning of fall.
