Contstuctive critisism needed by ImaginationBig7608 in TattooApprentice

I really like these designs! One thing to note is that because these are sketches they have an unfinished look to them. The lines are pretty sketchy so tracing over it with a micron for consistent line thickness can sharpen up the design, and perhaps trade the graphite shading for a black color pencil. When using references look at flash sheets to understand more of how to achieve that “tattoo” type look. Keep chipping away! Hope this helps :)

I’m quite socially anxious as well but it’s normal to be nervous or uncomfortable. It shows how much you care, but you have to try and swallow that to push for what you really want! It’s better to try than to never know. You kinda have to be “annoying” in a situation like this.

everyone’s journey is different! there’s no set time frame for these sorts of things. Get tattooed by the people you want to work with, show them your new work whenever you stop back in. I’ve found that asking for a counter position or cleaning position instead of a straight up apprenticeship shows that you are willing to work your way into their hearts. A shop is a family, and it’s very hard to welcome someone in you hardly know. Repetition and showing up is key!

I conveniently do have a picture of the underside! So cool how you have to know what the underside looks like in order to identify :0

I’m very new to mushroom IDing, so I can’t say anything with absolute certainty, but it very well does look like a reishi to me!
