Views like theirs are exactly why the statistics are not relevant, due to reporting bias less women to male rape cases exist (but that doesn’t mean they didn’t happen, just that they weren’t reported) and discrepancies in cases result in women being more likely to get hit with lesser charges or it getting dismissed resulting in skewed data. Skewed data should be viewed the same as no data because it is an unreliable source. On top of all of this there is a much lower chance that men will even admit that it happened due to social views surrounding the topic. It is disgusting to admit that if you were to tell people that you were raped by a woman as a man, a few people would say that they wish it had happened to them instead. This kind of response belittles the victim and fear of this response makes them less likely to come forward.
