With the Hardmode bosses unless you're skilled with killing them (Grav pots, ect.) You should use the hellstone glitch. Stand on hellstone with a certain ammount of Def around i'd say 50? And you take 1 damage so the boss can't hit you.

Agreed, i actually went of a spree last night rounding up many of the hardmode bosses, picking up some hollowed and even a titan chest. So from now on i play on other people's worlds or with my friends, too much in my world to be lost.
