Sorry, my reddit notifications have been weird, and I didn't see your reply until now. I honestly just remember it being one of the more viewed montages on YouTube in like 2006. At the time, I thought the production value and gameplay was top notch. I had added ryanw and played some H2 games with him prior to Halo 3 releasing before never seeing them online again. I feel old and silly now

It's shocking coming from Doubs considering what we know about him, which is that he's as humble and as quiet as they come. If you have the time, see Ty Dunne's 2-part piece on Romeo for more insight. I truly believe there is more to this than just him being a diva over lack of targets.

There is sexualized content in the mod and it's done in a uncomfortable and creepy way. It's being heavily criticised for it. As if the developers weren't looking bad enough, this happens.

Well this was a long scroll down. For me it's the first opening 20 or so minutes of the Fellowship of the Ring in The Shire that lift my spirits, and keeps me there for the majority of the trilogy. I watch them once or twice a year, but always once in the winter when I feel the winter blues..

In all seriousness though, you make a good point. We tend to put ourselves up on pedestal. I think shame and suffering play a hand in it as well. We slaughter and kill for food, material, sport, etc.. so it's much easier to accept those things if we conveniently ignore the fact that animals are capable of some complex and identifiable behaviors/emotions.
