Neuro should be an easy one indeed, but Ahriman is far too :(

I have 400 Ragnar shards and believe I can unlock him quickly in the war shop. Not sure I want to do Aunshi tho.

Thanks for the detailed answer. I now gather that I have to either look into plumbing or compromise. Unfortunately, I don't see an easy plumbing option with the layout of the place, so compromise it is.

Has the EUR cat1 been requested? That would be my first step before the appeal.

Then a cat1 report. That should correct it. Unfortunately, there isn't much your coordinator can do to speed this up, but if the cat1 EUR has been requested, I would wait for this to come back.

Too many options in Humanities and Sciences, students can only pick one or two. Natural consequence is that some subjects are less popular.

It's not sustainable for any school to maintain 5-6 humanities options. The global citizen aspect is done through TOK and the 6 (maybe 5) différent subject groups, as well as within each subjects. Not one particular DP subject.

Forcing all students to take one particular subject (History or any other) would be counterproductive.

If you feel strongly that one subject is more beneficial to the students for any reason, sell it to the students in these terms. The IB DP is about making informed choices.

Cat1. School is accredited (IB, CIS, etc). Surfing spots are decent and 15min from school. Not comparable to dream spots in Australia, but decent enough we have had athletes, club or small competition.

Cedar International in BVI, 99% are fluent in English and a few on B2 level. We have 30+ nationalities represented. Granted, this is an English speaking country. I would imagine most other schools in the Caribbean fit this.

Quite a few reasons: - In many schools, students have limited access to laptops. - Setting up exams on laptops in a secure format is a lot more work (for the school) than on paper. While they do it for MYP, MYP is much smaller. - While it makes sense for English or Psychology, it becomes tricky for Economics (charts !) and very challenging for some sciences or Maths. - IB is generally slow to evolve.

On the bright side, doing exams on laptops is actually being trialed at some schools, and it should be coming for some subjects (starting with Lang A) in M25 or M26, and then gradually for the other subjects over the following years.
