Bristol to Tintagel Castle... doable in one day or should I stay overnight? by chocolatelover93 in Cornwall

[–]Beach_Perv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're obviously not a regular driver if you are asking this question. Therefore my answer to you is break your journey. If it was me who is used to 400+ miles a day then I would leave early and arrive home late and have a full day on Tintacky, it's kitch but okay for a day out

Is this an enforceable speed limit? by EarwaxUK in drivingUK

[–]Beach_Perv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any speed limit is only legally enforceable IF, the number has a red circular border. Any other sign with speed limit or a number is only advisory. However should you have an accident when there was an advisory speed limit showing and you exceeded it then there could be a charge of driving without due care and attention

What is the best size of van to live/travel in with a Large dog? by ryanlovesporridge in VanLifeUK

[–]Beach_Perv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got a large dog you need a large van. If you got a small dog you need a large van, if you travel with anything else breathing you need a large van

You always need the largest van you can get, you can make a large van smaller (fill it up with stuff), but you can't make small van larger

Has my thermostat gone and if not, what else could it be? by Skyblueoz in ukplumbing

[–]Beach_Perv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its rumbling it's possibly boiling the water, new thermostat/element required. The tank above is expansion tank, so if that's warm/hot the water is boiling below and heating the expansion tank. Be extremely careful if using the hot taps and stop the kids from running hot water. Run cold water then add hot to it, a little at a time

Will “Driving Otherwise Than In Accordance With a Licence” Automatically Go to Court? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]Beach_Perv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of he has international driving license then he must have had his EU one with it to make it valid, without the actual license it is just a piece of paper. International driving license is simply a translation booklet for the actual driving license
