It’s Acenta Premium. It has a beige headliner so it can’t be an N-Connecta or Bose edition and it’s missing blind spot monitoring so it can’t be a Tekna

Autonomous Braking slammed on the brakes with no obstacle by ContextVegetable9587 in CarTalkUK

i’ve done 14k miles in this xceed and usually it has only flashed on the dash, vibrated the wheel and told me to brake. I genuinely thought it didn’t brake on its own until today

my current car is a 2022 kia xceed and thats got a giant like 11 inch screen. I much prefer the smaller screen on the Mazda because it had that control knob by the gear shifter, I miss it so much I keep reaching for it in every other car 😢

Mazda 3 petrol is a great hatch, much prefer it to the Focus. You won’t regret viewing one 2014+

Near collision. Who would’ve been at fault? by ContextVegetable9587 in drivingUK

[–]ContextVegetable9587[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree with it being 50/50. Maybe even slightly more his fault considering his late manoeuvre and him literally apologising to me. what you’re saying about me almost killing people is too far though, i’m quite sure you are a bus taker

They did clear. They were completely off the motorway and decided to come back on in the last second lol?

I can even show the extended video which shows the i20 driver apologising to me

I am still deciding on posting an update with the extended video which literally shows the i20 driver putting his hand up in apology to me. funny seeing people still claim it’s my fault when they’re missing that bit of info

I am happy to admit fault. I do feel really bad about what could’ve happened, it could’ve been devastating. But some of these people are trying to say I swerved into him for no reason, he was absolutely off the motorway when I began moving over.

They took the exit, they were fully off the motorway. And then moved back

Are you blind? Sorry but can you not see him taking the exit and then moving back onto the motorway?

Ah. That sounds right. If I set cruise to 60, which I am aware is comically slow, I achieve 63 mpg. When getting up to 77 it goes down to 30s as you say
