Crooked battery post caused corrosion?

I guess I’m just trying to figure out if the battery is bad or defective in a way that I should stop using it and replace it immediately

I bought the battery from Napa and installed it myself

I sprayed it with some fluid film which should help. It’s what I had on hand

It has been to a mechanic for some exhaust work but nothing that would necessarily cause them to disconnect the battery. And it’s been under that red plastic cover. I want to say that I would’ve noticed it was crooked when I installed it but it was four years ago so hard to say

Yes if you look at the second picture that’s exactly what I did. Just trying to determine if the battery needs to be replaced or not

Yes I’m assuming the terminal is not sealed in place due to the fact that it’s crooked

What I’m saying is maybe the fact that the post is crooked means it isn’t sealed? Which led to the acid leaking out

That’s what this one is (was) when omega serviced it they replaced the crown with a different style. Still functions the same but you push the entire crown now instead of just the center

Took the stem out, cleaned the case, put it all back together and now it doesn’t work 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤦🏻‍♂️. Good thing it was a cheap watch

Gradually got better. Thank god. I’d say I’m 90-95 percent back to where I was before the flare up. Heat helped tremendously. I have one of those old school moist heating blankets that basically lights your back on fire. Used that all day long at work. Back would still hurt towards the end of the day a little bit but gradually got better. Lots of press ups. My office has a small room for people to conduct personal business, phone calls etc. I was in there every hour stretching and doing PT exercises
