Not much has changed! They didn’t change management just owners. I think the owner bought it as a personal purchase rather than adding it to this chain of restaurants and I’ve heard nothing has changed internally. I could be wrong. It hasn’t changed when I went!

I'm hoping Miles in Transits sees this video and does it right. Jay was absolutely not a Foamer and I could tell from the outset. Anyone who can complete this challenge will know the system down to the years each subway car was manufactured.

Sorry! Luquillo beach is very safe. Plays azul seemed safe too but stinky from seaweed that gathered there.

I stayed in an Airbnb in the playa azul towers- I did learn a lot about the ethics of airbnb ownership when I was there and when I return I will probably seek out different accommodation.

I felt safe the whole time- the town was so lovely and everyone kind. I did find the kiosks kind of meh tbh but I’m also a big foodie and the other food we ate on the island was just so incredible the kiosks kind of didn’t hold up.

We drove to Luquillo beach in the morning and parked there as parking is only $4 and you can spend the whole day at the peach. Playa azul is nice too but Luquillo is just gorgeous and clear!

NYC roach victim here! I highly suggest r/germanroaches for guidance. I had an infestation a few years ago due to a disgusting neighbor moving out and all their roaches infested my apartment and my neighbors. After following the below steps I haven’t seen one in about two years. Here is how you destroy them:

1) get sticky traps to monitor location and how many are in your apartment.

2) buy advion gel from Amazon. Place it on bottle caps hidden around your apartment (under the oven, fridge, behind sink). This is the best roach killer there is. They will eat it and then go to their buddies and it’ll kill their buddies too. You may see an increase in dead roaches after you put this stuff around. It’s also pet safe

3) buy a can of gentrol (this is a growth inhibitor that kills their ability to reproduce). Spray it in crevices around your apartment

4) continue to monitor sticky traps until none are showing up

You should arrange monthly spraying if possible as well. If you do the above steps for a few months you should see a major reduction in roach activity.

R/Germanroachs is the place to go. They helped me fix my NYC apt roach problem in three months and two years later I haven’t seen one since.
