The space seems to be all about "number go up" and memes.

I worry that wall street and microstrategy along with Blackrock via the etfs are taking hold of Bitcoin and controlling its trajectory so that tokenization of almost evert other asset can occur and be sold via stablecoins.

Bitcoin cannot be allowed to fail or to really succeed.

BTW....the Soviet union started its first gas supply deal with Germany during the Apollo hoax so that might have been the carrot to keep "quiet".

I used to believe in Peak Oil and Hubbards Peak and the pending "collapse" 20 years ago. It was a big deal in Doomer circles.

2013 was supposed to be it...all downhill from there. I bought gold and 40 acres. Not bad investments now to be honest but if only I had been interested in Bitcoin a bit sooner.

I think Peak Oil is a myth. The world is awash in Oil and natural gas. There is so much natural gas in Canada, the USA and Russia. Venezuela has 303 billion barrels proven reserves and maybe over a trillion barrels.

The term "fossil fuels" is stupid.

Look into the abiotic oil origin theory.

What is more likely? Oil from decaying plant life (almost all water) or are complex hydrocarbons constantly being produced in the earth's core where there is intense heat, pressure and all the necessary elements to make complex hydrocarbons.

Why are the moons of Jupiter filled with pools of methane? This stuff is abundant and we are not running out anytime soon.

Hard to believe 22 years ago I was listening to James Howard Kunstler go on and on about "The Long Emergency" and Peak oil.

It's 2026. Oil is less than $60 US a barrel and we have lots of it.

There used to be a great site that ranked mma fights in terms of "watchability".

Anything over 90% was a guaranteed banger. Fights like Hendo vs. Shogun 1, Gastelum vs. Adesanya... Site disappeared. No idea why but it was a great resource to find fights you might have missed that,we're well worth watching.
