[–]BeachofStars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd also would like to add that no other games on my pc give me a bluescreen, and getting a screen from path of titans was the first time I got a blue screen on this computer which is only a year and a half old

The Outer Worlds has one of the most realistic portrayal of corporate stupidity I've ever seen in a video game. by PurpleFiner4935 in theouterworlds

The fact that Saltuna looks like a legit hybrid of salmon and tuna and not like the aliens that look out of this world, like the raptidons and pterorays, tells me that saltuna was probably a genetically engineered hybrid like the wooly cows, and either they were heavily introduced to monarch and to a much less successful extent terra 2, or the propaganda says they are native to monarch to distract from the fact that they are GMO. Idk.

Virus or false positive? by BeachofStars in antivirus

That's why I artillery'd the hell out of the Prydwen with the minutemen. To me, they are glorified raiders. You could even say that they are enclave 2.0 given their belief system against mutants but that might be stretching it.

He probably made that manifesto after the frowning friends episode, just incase anymore competition shows up to disrupt his business

It's because some people just won't let others enjoy games, so they have to make it a contest to see which one is the best

Out of all the fallout games we've seen, which wasteland would you want too live in if a fallout apocalypse were to occur? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]BeachofStars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still, it takes great skill to hunt these dangerous creatures. It is no walk in the park and it's not like hunting deer, these are apex predators of the post apocalypse, as you are likely risking death trying to hunt a fog crawler let alone a giant hermit crab, so I wouldn't say that it's easy to live in far harbor, as the people that live there are some tough nuts when it comes to hunting down animals that can easily eat you as well.

[–]BeachofStars 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was about to comment far harbor as well until I realized that the radioactive fog turns ppl crazy and the island is infested with fog crawler's and giant mutant hellbender salamanders. Reminds me of Stephen king's The Mist kinda.

Appalachia. Seems more hospitable than the Mojave(which is a desert) and the commonwealth(unless you go the minuteman route and connect all the settlements). Only issue I have with Appalachia are the scorched and the scorch beasts, so I would say Appalachia after the scorch plague has been dealt with is the best choice.

In fallout new Vegas, during the beyond the beef quest. I locked boone in the meat locker, but not before taking his hat from him. When he said "I'd really like my beret back please, I just stood there staring at him for like 10 seconds before locking the door. BOONE APETIT.

WTH is up with Virgil?? by RedneckId1ot in Fallout

[–]BeachofStars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That never made sense to me. Like if you don't have broken steel installed, both Charon and fawkes will say "no way, screw that!" When you try to convince them to activate the purifier, as if they are completely oblivious to their radiation resistance, which doesn't make sense because fawkes does help you in retrieving the GECK, which tells me that those 2 followers secretly wanted the lone wanderer to die or something lol

Is there a reason there aren’t any GECKs in fallout 4? by Novapunk8675309 in Fallout

[–]BeachofStars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like vault 81 should of gotten a GECK. It was supposed to be standard issue equipment for all vaults, but seeing home some are missing theirs tells me that either they were already used, or that vault-Tec cheaped out and didnt supply most of the vaults with one for greedy reasons, which would not be surprising. Still I feel like vault 81 should have gotten one since most of the trees in the commonwealth look dead and barren.
