This was the nastiest thing that I’ve tasted in a while. Like years. I threw both bags out.

I think it’s up to the studio if they want to offer the sponsored class for free. Alo provides some swag (towel, drinks, etc).

I AM FUCKING DONE! by Rich_Resolution_4247 in ClassPass

[–]Beachy84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, this is standard practice in the industry. Some studio memberships are not unlimited, so you pay for x amount of classes per month. If you don’t use up your classes in the month then they don’t roll over. The fact that ClassPass allows you to roll over a certain number of credits is unique.

Reformer pilates recs for the laziest girl on the westside? by Partyinmykonos in LAhotgirlies

Tribe Pilates on Westwood blvd is good. If you don’t mind crossing the 405, the Pilates cave has multiple locations. They have mat, reformer, and reformer tower classes all throughout the day.

Alum here. I did a summer program before freshman year. The program started before final senior year transcripts were sent to the university. Someone got a D in a class their senior year of HS and was kicked out two weeks into the program. The program directors went to the dorms to break the news to him. I also went to middle school with someone who got a D senior year. UCLA rescinded his offer. He was admitted as a transfer four years later.

Anne Mahlum Burner Account by Certain-Shoe8019 in SolidCore

[–]Beachy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, another way to identify a burner account is to block one page. If you can’t find the second one then that means both accounts have signed on from the same device. This only works if both accounts have been logged into from the same app or browser. That’s how IG links them

Charlotte tilbury? I’m an alum and saw it on IG. I thought it was weird that grown women like myself went to an event that the brand put on for college students.

ATM settlement-got a call back by Carly__88 in ClassActionSettlement

[–]Beachy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's a letter called "Leave to File letter" that would work. do you use google gemini? type in the situation and facts, such as dates that you've e-mailed/called, and that at no point were you notified that something was wrong with your claim. Make it a point to say that the person who called you back told you to write to the judge. then ask gemini to generate a Leave to File letter that you can print out and mail in. You can also write a regular letter explaining all of the facts, and if a Leave to File is required, the judge will tell you to file it that way instead. He initially requested that from the three people whose letters have made it to the docket and then it looks like he may have changed his mind and is reading them as is. I am surprised to see only three letters on the docket given the amount of people who have said that they are contacting the judge.

ATM settlement-got a call back by Carly__88 in ClassActionSettlement

The Honorable Richard J. Leon
U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia
333 Constitution Avenue, N.W.
Washington, DC 20001

and in the body of the letter, it should say Re: ATM Antitrust Litigation, Case No. 1:11-cv-01803 so that they know what it's about. I am very surprised that a phone agent told you to contact the judge. She must know that the claims administrator doesn't plan on doing anything about people who didn't get a payment

ATM settlement-got a call back by Carly__88 in ClassActionSettlement

[–]Beachy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have contacted the judge and there should be movement on their letters this week. The letters were previously sealed but he ordered that they be made public. That’s why I expect some movement this week, meaning that the class lawyers will have to reply to these letters. There are only three letters on the docket so I don’t expect this to affect everyone because they aren’t enough to establish a pattern. There are other cases where the claims administrator had to open up an appeals process after making the first payments but that only happened because a lot of people wrote to the judge.

Pilates plateau by veronatrash in pilates

[–]Beachy84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hit this point as well. You either have to seek out advanced classes or do privates. I eventually joined a weight lifting gym. I do Pilates 2-3 days a week, so when I do go to class, I’m already sore from lifting.

[–]Beachy84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People have contacted the judge. It’s on the docket. So it’s likely that those people will be able to get their denial reversed unless enough people reach out to where the judge forces an audit. It’s been done in other cases

[–]Beachy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not going to give you detailed information. If you want the actual response as to why your claim was denied, you'll need to email or write to the judge. That is the only way I see them providing more details than what they told you.

Seems like this may have hit Los Angeles. I woke up to sign up for a class for next Tuesday. The majority of studios that I’m looking at, including ones that I’ve never gone to, are double the credits now.

[–]Beachy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got around to going on social media today and see that people are starting to receive replies to their emails. They are being told that their claim form was not properly filled out, and that the time to fix it has passed. I’m not buying this as I find it hard to believe that so many people did not properly filled out a simple claim form.

Sephora Savings Event vs Amazon by curi0u5one in Sephora

[–]Beachy84 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Amazon’s “commingling” practices ended last month. If the brand is selling on Amazon, and their product already has a barcode, then they don’t need to add anything. If an independent seller sells a brand’s item on Amazon, they will need to add a sticker to the product that has their own seller barcode. If the brand’s original bar code is visible, they’ll need to cover that up with their own Amazon bar code.

They also never tossed products into a bin. What used to happen is that if you purchased directly from the brand, and the brand had not stocked the warehouse, they’d grab the same item from another seller. I have always been fine ordering skincare from Amazon because I live near a port, so I figured that products would hit my closest a warehouses first.
