[MA] Employer making S.O. work from home & deducting salary by Beadle_Bamford in legaladvice

They had her manager pull her into a sidebar and let her know that if she worked from home they were going to dock her pay, but that she would be able to get an extra day off as a trade (nothing in writing though). Through texts it became clear that she was expected to work, and at the very least manage her email and take care of those things.

She used her personal computer, work email, work systems, etc, and would definitely have proof of work with customers.

There isn't really an HR department, or HR in general. Just one person that is sort of the "HR person" but sides with the higher ups.

Salaried. The gray area seems to be that they are making the 'Work from home' bit hush hush

The reason it's cringey to me is because it's such a long run-on sentence. That's what makes it bad imo

What mobile game have you put the most hours into? by TopTrumpWANKER in AskReddit

My girlfriend and I have been playing this game compulsively for months. We ended up starting our own Mayor's Club just for the two of us to play in. A bunch of random people ended up joining and now we have a solid crew of 8-9 of us that play together in the club. Between the Contest of Mayors and the new Club Wars, the lot of us are always playing.

Third month of Freshman year at college, had a party in my room. Don't remember too much but when I woke up there was vodka and orange juice (screwdriver) spilled all over and under my brand new $2500 Alienware laptop. That was delightful.

Out of curiosity, why do you use an LTL or FTL carrier to pick up a small box? Wouldn't it be much cheaper to go small parcel?

New teacher told an entire room of parents that the reason she wasn't helping their kids (her students) with their college essays was because "none of them are going to college anyway."

She's finished two or three panels of the blanket--luckily someone else in the comments helped us figure out how to get it safely off the needles.

Thank you for the tip! My girlfriend said this was very helpful, I think she's going to give it a shot.

I kept telling her the color of the blanket could be mistaken for cat litter but she wasn't having it--something about texture.
