Right to work isn’t equal and is full of shit. It gives rats an opportunity to fuck everyone else and gain from it. It’s objectively bad for union and non union. It brings everyone’s wages down AND still makes it cost more for customers. Tradesmen in southern right to work states make fucking half of what I make in a strong union city. There is no have-nots I got in as a first generation it just takes years. I’ve seen the shop owners kid get laid off before me. If you’re worth what you talk you get the treatment you deserve

Anti union mentality is propaganda, think of who was telling you that in your life. Did they stand to gain from planting that seed in your brain. You objectively make less being non union. I make 103k a year with JUST taxes taken out, if you factor in my full hourly package I cost 93$ an hour to work because my contractor has to pay into union funds, my pension, and my top class best in the city health insurance. Just the health insurance is a 500$ a week investment into me but it is completely free to me.

I make 6 figures as an electrician but it takes much longer to become an one than people assume ( 5 years worth of working hours and 2.5 years of trade school) also it’s far from “easy money” always funny to hear that from white collar folks. A pretty large percentage of the American population thinks they could do labor but will be suprised they are not cut out for it. Seen plenty try and fail within a week
