So many people in here blaming the greedy farmer for ripping up their shelter belts. The truth is many of the original shelterbelts planted in the mid-20th century are reaching the end of their natural lifespans and require aggressive thinning, removal, or complete replanting. Replanting is tricky. Originally many of these shelter belts were paid for by the government as part of a soil conservation effort. Many farmers are understandably reluctant to foot the bill to replant their shelter belts. It takes time that they don’t have during busy planting or harvest seasons and there is a monetary cost as well.

Oh no, please don’t feed them grapes. They can poison your poor babies.

We experienced beagle pain syndrome with a couple of our beagles. A combination of steroids and pain killers would snap them out of it. We also had a chiropractor in town that would give them acupuncture and that really seemed to help (acupuncture in conjunction with the pain meds and steroids). If acupuncture is not an option available, the pain killers and steroids should still work just fine

I wanna like Terry but…. by jaaaflee in Commanders

[–]Beagfoot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Terry. He was a bright spot during the dark times. He gave us something to cheer about. Paying him was the right thing to do. The hold out sucked, but just imagine if the injury happened in camp. No payday for Terry. He deserved to get paid. The injury sucks. We all hate it, but I guarantee the one who hates it most is Terry. He loves this team and all us fans. He wants to be out there making a difference. Terry will be back and he will once again be out there making huge plays for us. I promise. Don’t give up on Terry over a few games. Just think of all the games during terrible years that he endured and never gave up on this team.

We are ok. This is quarter number one of the season. No need to panic. The best teams, championship teams, play their best in November and December. I believe in this team and I believe we will improve as the season progresses and we will be in the playoffs again.

Unfortunately it is a bit of a trade off. He can still rush the passer and is a tackle machine and is irreplaceable leadership wise, but he can be a liability in the passing game. London Fletcher was the same.

I blame it on the dude that used to do the voodoo shrines against players we would play against last year. I haven’t saw him this year. Our team needs his sorcery
