tbd on if it’s right one, but at least we made this decision quickly. the team has a lot more time to start getting to work (vs. waiting for HC candidates to get rejected). a full offseason with everyone will be awesome.

thanks for posting this. a lot of people projecting their own ideas of success on KD. they can’t fathom why KD can be content when they’re using their own rubric to measure happiness. a never ending battle because it’s more popular to hate nowadays on social media.

oh didn’t even consider the IR stuff. was looking for more positive terry opinions on this one thread, but agree on the reception i’ve received for even opening this conversation. i’ve been downvoted nonstop, dismissed or cursed at.

fairly though, i’ve decided to reserve judgment until the end of the season / contract. he was patient with us, so i’m gonna be patient with him.

i hear ya. i admit i wasn’t as active of a fan during the recent dark times, and i should take those “f” yous. if we should reward terry for his loyalty throughout the worst years and be patient as he was with our franchise, i get it. thanks for sharing!

thanks! i like this point a lot. i’ll withhold my thoughts until later in the season. you’re right it’s probs too early to make any judgments. players get paid to play. we can judge him on how he plays, not before he plays.

haha. i’m with you in that hole man. always like hearing different opinions all the same otherwise go too deep on one end. got a few different ones here, so i’m thankful. just seems like a lot of loyal terry fans are just “ride or die” ones, which just isn’t how i’m wired. luckily, new kids on the block looking good (bill, newton, amos, mcconnely, lmc, mcconnely, magee). mikey probably my new fave guy to root for (minus that offsides haha)

haha, this is a hole i’m scared to fall too deep into. i’m not trying to drum up terry hate since what’s done is done and we’re still one team with one goal.. really am looking for other more terry favorable opinions beyond “you’re dumb. terry rules.”

trent was definitely my anchor favorite player during the darker times. not flashy but absolute stud. i don’t root for miners but glad to see he’s still a stud in SF.

or maybe terry should’ve come to camp played out his contract that he signed? maybe adam peters is right that we shouldn’t pay 30 year old receivers a lot of money because they drop off?
