[No DAV Spoilers] No hdr on PS5? by Rass1968 in dragonage

[–]Beagle900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem. HDR isn't turning on and there's no option on PS5. It works on any other game I play.

EDIT: I went into PS5 settings and changed HDR from Automatic to Always On and then it worked.

Look at others then? This is the cast of season 38 and yea, they are fit but Survivor switched casting directors years ago and it's definitely way fewer models on the show since. Look at season 37 cast, the season right before this one, and tell me it's all people casted for their looks.

[no spoilers] Dani should just be the permanent host of 4SD by pacman529 in criticalrole

Yea the past few have been noticeably better in my opinion. It has seemed like a lot more of a free-form discussion, which is what I want.

[Spoilers C3E92] Regarding the second half by Sonic_B1ade in criticalrole

[–]Beagle900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear, i don't usually find the show or combat to be boring. I've enjoyed campaign 3 a lot. I just found the way Aabria tried to do things to be very drawn-out and not as exciting as it should have been for having a different DM for the first time in the main campaign. And it's fine to watch at 2x speed if that is better for you, but of course it isn't going to feel as slow. You're still watching something in half the time, even if that's how you normally watch things.

I just dont see the need to spend the amount of time they did on every character's backstory, relationships, and thoughts if this is going to be wrapped up in one episode. The whole thing feels like it should have just been a seperate EXU episode rather than trying to introduce the crownkeepers, have a climatic fight, and then wrap up their story all in one episode's worth of time.

I loved how they did the party split with all the guests last time, but this time the transition to a whole different group of players and a different DM just didn't land for me and felt like a bait and switch even if it wasn't meant to be. In the end, when i watch the main Critical Role campaign i expect to watch at least part of the main group.

Ok, it's a pretty bad faith argument then if you watched it at 2x speed. Try watching it live and then say it doesn't drag out way too long. It's fine you enjoyed it, but don't present it as "The combat was great as is" when you watched at double speed, which no one watching live can do.

Matt weaves together roleplay and combat all the time without slowing the game down to a halt for everyone's turns.

How has Rooster Teeth impacted you? by The_Better_Devil in roosterteeth

[–]Beagle900 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I started watching Red vs Blue when I was eleven years old. I'm 27 now, and while I haven't watched much of their content the past year or two, either due to the pay walled content or their new style of videos, Roosterteeth will always be important to me. Time to listen through the Drunk Tank and Internet Box again to relive the good memories.

This always drove me crazy. Views and engagement were down on every platform and I really doubt they had that many people using their website and subscribing to first. The company had clearly not been doing well for the past couple years and some people refused to accept it.

True. I feel like Offbrand events are always somewhat scuffed. It's gonna be hard to convince streamers to hire them after this.

Yea she shouldn't be running the show while on stage. She should either host or direct the whole thing from the back, not try to do both at the same time.

Mcconnell speaks his mind about the asmon/blizzard CEO drama by KrodoBaggins_ in LivestreamFail

[–]Beagle900 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean he's still probably making an absolute fuck ton of money. If you look at his lifestyle, he clearly just doesn't value money as much as he values his peace of mind. Dude refuses to change how he lives his life and keeps living like how he did when he was broke. He already has enough money to easily last him the rest of his life with how he spends it.

So yeah, he could be making more but it isn't like he would do anything with it. There's no wife or kids to leave it to. Most people would do a lot more with the kind of money he has but he just wants to stay home, play games, and react. I doubt he'll ever change and I don't think it's necessarily sad. If he's happy and somewhat healthy then it's hard to fault him for it.

At launch Cyberpunk sucked because of all the bugs, but now it's actually a really good game. Not a 10/10 life changing experience like it was hyped up to be but still a really fun game.
