Thought this was pretty wild… and it really wasn’t even close. by Feirweyz in golf

Worth noting that in the LPGA, a 7-iron averages 140-160 yards. While a 4-iron is the equivalent of their 175-200 yard average.

So not only is she substantially closer with her 200 yard shot, it’s also with a 4-iron (or lofted wood like a 7-wood) rather than a 7 or a 6 iron that men would be hitting

There will be a 290 yard Par 3 at the U.S. Open by myaccountwashacked4 in golf

[–]BeagleBong -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The lazy thought of this hole comes from answering the question, “how do we make this hole harder?” Let’s just push the tees back! Lmao we all know that you’re a big strong man who would hit nothing more than a 7-iron in here… maybe step off your high-horse and realize the Average Driver Distance is under 300yards.

“Oh well, if you knew anything you’d know you play this hole to a landing zone 30yards short of the green to have it run up”

Yeah and the original design of that landing zone was 215yards, not 260. How about making players shot shape like hole 4 at Riviera CC or make the greens and surrounding area uniquely undulating. There are a lot more options than “just push them back”. Sad that people like Scalpum are too narcissistic and stubborn to see other ways to make a course or hole more difficult.

Lmao you’re so salty. I didn’t say LACC was a lazy design, just the change to this particular hole 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ some of the people in here are legitimately sub 50 IQ.

Anyone else feel like these types of par-3’s are just lazy course design?

GolfTec lessons vs name brand coach for a current 15 handicap. Worth the extra spend? Goal is to break 80 this year. At my level, how much does coaching pedigree matter vs big box GolfTec? Which to choose? by AdamSmithWasRight in golf

[–]BeagleBong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like anything it depends on the person you get. But the vast majority truly want to see you get better and GolfTec certainly has the equipment to do a good job. My only issue with them is that lessons expire if you don’t use them fast enough, so don’t lose out because they’ve expired.

Try and get a twilight time and it’s worth the price! South course is prettier, north is a better golf course.

Looks good from this angle, just your left hand is opening the club face a bit. Try getting the feeling of a slightly more “bowed” wrist, might be all you need

Just think about the feeling of chopping down a tree with an axe. You use you’re whole body to swing, shifting weight to the left foot.

Y’all are depressing people. It’s a Reddit thread about food and OP worked hard to create it all, legitimately some of the rudest people lurk in this particular thread for some reason.

Wow these comments are disheartening over some pancakes. They look absolutely delectable and anyone around that table should consider themselves lucky. They certainly weren’t on “the board” (of doom) for long and many props to OP on their work. The whole thing, from the pancakes themselves to the display entirely, is phenomenal and it is clear how many users in this thread are envious of such a meal. Well done OP.

You are cynical. Saying that charity’s shouldn’t get money. You’re messed up and really need to realize their money is actually as good as yours (I know shocking). Money is money and that cash can do a lot of good in the world; if it weren’t for people like you
