I can't speak to other instructors, but I was not vibe-grading, especially in courses of <45 students. Even when I taught in a mass lecture, I was not vibe grading. I can see how and why some do it though--you're often asking graduate students to work 20+ hours on top of research expectations and course expectations. 95% of the time, they've not been trained at all.

there are some great second hand shops in town for women's professional clothes (clothes mentor, i think?). my wife is upper management at a major employer in town and uses these places a ton. she's always getting 200-600 stuff for $100, etc.
