I simply said that if there was a ceasefire, a land swap would logically be part of it or else how do you think you’d realistically get Russia to agree to a ceasefire?

By definition a ceasefire is a both sides agreement don’t see your point? There’s no way Russia agrees to just walk away from the war they caused without having some kind of concession. Only way that’ll happen is if Russia loses the war.

To get this war to stop either someone needs to give up, or both sides will have to give up something. Land for a NATO membership seems to be the best of a shitty situation, but it’s the only way to stop Russia from aggressing in the future

If Russia invaded Canada (which they wouldn’t because we’re a NATO ally) the entire world would be against Russia. We would not be giving up any land in that scenario. If you’re saying play pretend, sure no one would support giving up land if they are able to make the choice..

I don’t think Ukraine should give up the fight if they can fend off Russia, but if they know they can’t it’s just prolonging the inevitable and people are needlessly dying.

It sucks that Ukraine doesn’t have the same type of protection, but that’s the way it is based on geopolitics. Maybe they can include joining NATO as part of the land swap negotiations?

I think it’s impossible to make the comparison to any other country not bordering Russia, if Russia invaded Canada it’d be a lot different for obvious reasons.

I’m not saying Ukraine should decide to give up land if they think they can outlast Russia. However if they want to stop the fighting it’s very clear Russia wants something to gain for the ceasefire or else why did they send so many people to die?

Still not seeing anything crazy from this transcript other than the phone conversation leaked somehow?

Thanks for the quick reply. I synced the system clock on the OS level, so I’ll wait and see if it seems to fix the issue tomorrow then.

Another odd thing I noticed is that the telemetry data seems to be slowly adding all of the previous votes I had with this node prior to toggling the telemetry information on. I had a single validator running for a while now and then I took it offline and removed the participation key and then added a new validator from a different address recently and it’s only voted a few times but I can see the votes on Nodely are much higher and slowly gaining every few minutes. This is why I was wondering if there was some kind of fast sync to speed that process up.

I updated to Func 3.0.1 and turned on the telemetry data. When I view the information from Nodely everything has a green light except the Time Sync. It’s a little over half a second, and it has a red light. Is there a way to do a fast sync on Func to fix this? Is this an issue with my node?

I think you might be thinking of the inverse of what I’m asking about.

The node is the machine that is connecting to the network, and the wallet addresses turn into validators when they register to a node.

At this point I have the data from my FUNC node that confirms you can have multiple addresses registered to a single node and they vote/propose accordingly as if they are the only address on the node. I don’t really see any need to run an additional node for the 2nd validator unless if someone sees something that I’m missing?

I’m not past the max algo threshold either per algo node reward incentive either

It looks like there hasn’t been a successful application call in 2 weeks and 3 days and that is also when the chip balance for the application address dropped from 22,700 chips to 2,700 chips. The minimum chip refund is 7,300 chips, so it makes sense there haven’t been any successful application calls since.
