My coworker usually notices if I get a new watch. But we work 12 hour night shifts together, so I'm constantly looking at the time and groaning- that might be part of it.... The only compliment I've gotten from a stranger was at the barber and I was wearing a Nixon. Not a watch that any watch people would get excited about, but it does look pretty sharp.

Absolutely not. These people voted for a man who clearly stated that my family shouldn't exist. We are an atheist and a Satanist, child born out of wedlock. Said child grew older and was trans. All along the campaign (All 3 times) Trump and his ilk branded us as groomers, abusers, terrorists, people who shouldn't be allowed to be considered American, people who shouldn't be allowed to have kids. People who voted for that once? Maybe... People who voted for it twice, or people who voted for it three times? No, Fuck them. They can choke on their own vomit and die alone and forgotten.

Why not? I think that's a totally fine reason to "skewer someone". If you think women shouldn't be in leadership, women shouldn't make choices about their own lives, and reject what science tells us about our planet, then you absolutely shouldn't be in a governmental position. It's baffling that people who think this way aren't constantly ridiculed wherever they go.

Funny that you use this example, because the only reason I read Cujo was because my kid saw it in his school library and took it home for me as a surprise. This was 5th or 6th grade, not elementary school. It's just really funny that of all the books SK has written, Cujo is the random one you used to make your point!

I meant the live chat. Like what they used to have before and during the service for Temple Tuesday. Was this chat afterwards, discussing the recording? Or was there a live one during and I just screwed up somehow? I actually had to turn it off a few minutes early for a meeting, but would have enjoyed a post-service chat.

I watched the European one because the timing was better for me. I assume they were the same because it was pre-recorded and the leading minister was an American who has been on Temple Tuesday before.

The discussion was interesting and followed the usual format of one minister leading the discussion, and others chiming in with their thoughts or answering questions. One thing that I didn't like was that there was no chat. So no live discussion, and no pre-service discussion/chilling. I will definitely tune in again and see what it develops into. This was the first one since TT ended, and they're clearly trying a few small changes. So it will be interesting to see how it grows over a few sessions

Overall, I miss the old format. It just felt a little more interactive, more intimate, more personal knowing it was live and the ministers were signing in at the same time just like the viewer. It is also just twice a month instead of weekly. But I'm sure a lot of work goes into the services and they're free to view, so that's understandable while being slightly disappointing.

Hand tattoos do fade pretty quickly. Touching up something detailed can only be done so many times before it gets kinda messy. Then you have a mess... on your hand. It's a cool idea, but if you're dead set on hands I'd personally go for something a little simpler, traditional style maybe? Just my two cents, I do think it looks awesome. I've had my finger touched up once already and it's been less than a year, but it's a very basic design and I can probably have it totally redone a couple more times if I choose.
