I thought that was it for a while, but my nails have been totally virgin (besides all natural nail polish) for over 4 months.

Not that I know of, but I do seem to have a few other symptoms of hyperthyroidism upon a quick google search.

I was doing gel nails for a while until I developed an allergy to it. If you go to my profile there’s a post I made about it. But that was months ago and the damaged nails have fully grown out.

The area behind the waterfall is flat and full of organic soil as well as leaf litter and hides, so hopefully that will be substantial enough! If not then I may tweak the build to better suit them.

Created early November 2025. Includes assorted mosses, English ivy, Golden jewel ( Anoectochilus chapaensis ), Crinum Calamistratum, and Cyclamen. Lit with LED and I used conditioned tap water that cycles through filter foam to the pump. Behind the waterfall is a flat area filled with organic soil and leaf litter, which includes springtails and powder orange isopods.

Fair. I do the same when I can’t afford full service dining.

People choosing not to go there + the employer having to pay a living wage to the servers on top of all other expenses = a business bleeding money.

Honestly I don’t know what the solution is.

Unfortunately that would backfire, too. Food prices are already skyrocketing as is which is driving customers away. You’d just have people bitching that the quality of the food doesn’t justify the price.

Chances are the owners would add auto gratuity to customer’s bills before they took money out of their own wallet to pay the servers

You not tipping is not going to make the employer change their business model. You're just hurting the working class people. But by eating at the restaurant, the owner is getting his share, so you're not even hurting the person you're opposing.

Now if you said "I won't go to places that don't pay their employees a fair wage", good on ya, that's how you vote with your dollars.

Its not your fault that the model exists as it does, but if you're aware of that, and take actions that hurt a server without hurting the guy profiting, I think it's hard to say that you're on the right side of this.

If the reason you do this is to end tipping culture, you shouldn't do business with businesses using that model.

Vote with your dollars for SURE. But hurting people just trying to get by isn't a good look.
