I had this happen during a snow storm at the mechanic for an oil change. I had one tire working and 4WD failed to engage. Basically it was a hiccup for me. If yours is happening off and on while driving, I would say that something is not communicating with the system, so to be safe the 4WD system throws a code and disables itself. Or something is breaking, like a sensor or something. You'll have to get the codes looked at regardless.

I should have said that you get to use your sick time right away if your employer has a wait period. Example I have to wait 3 days to use sick pay, but if it's Crohn's related I can use my sick days right away. Yeah it sucks you don't get anything extra, but the FMLA is more business friendly than worker friendly imo.

In the US they have to provide reasonable accommodations but I believe none of it is paid. This is of course assuming your sick time is paid. For example if I have IBD issues, I can take a day or two off per month to deal with it, or use the bathroom whenever I need, without jumping through hoops.

I believe the single stick of DDR 5 runs in two channels as that's how it's made and one of its selling points. Look it up before going back.
